首先是積累詞彙和句型，盡量用一些不常用的詞彙或短語去替代被用爛了的簡單句。例如可以不說I think 而說 as far as i'm considered；不說we must 而改成成only by doing this,can we...
其次是作文要分段，不要一篇文章正文部分只有一大段，所有內容都擠在一起，會被評卷老師鄙視的，而且每一段段首一定要有一個能概括本段中心的段首句，這個句子盡量套用華麗的句型或者用從句，讓老師一看就覺得這個學生有水平，印象分就會給很高。
再次，字跡要工整，廣東省是電腦閱卷，丑的地方會被閱卷老師在心理上放大
