是well-off,well-to-do,簡單易懂，英美亦有這種表述富裕的說法。當然上面有些譯法是通過添加表示程度、量化的詞,企圖更准確地表答「小康」的內含。但要知道,「小康」是一個包含經濟、物質、精神、環境、社保的綜合經濟指標詞，是很難用一兩個單詞將它界定清楚的。倒是有一個詞最能表達其准確含義，那就是：Xiaokang!直接用拼音。大家上上下下齊努力，到時侯外國人不得不承認喲！這就是漢語向英語的滲透。
