• 含雙寫輔音字母的單詞在移行時應將輔音字母拆開。如"better"可拆成"better"，"necessary"可拆成"necessary"。但如果雙寫輔音字母屬於詞根，後面又加了後綴，則不能拆開。如"drill"加上"-ing"後構成了"drilling"，應保持完整。
