樓上幾位的翻譯，基本都是正確的，但是並不全面，通常地道的用法有：

位移 = displacement （只有這么一種說法）
速率 = speed （也只有這么一種）
速度 = velocity （也只有這么一種翻譯）
初速度 = initial velocity，starting velocity （這兩種翻譯都是常說常用的）
末速度 = terminal veloxity，final velocity （這兩種也是常見常用的，
有時也有人說ending velocity，也是對的）
加速度 = acceleration （可正可負，deceleration 指加速度為負的情況，retardation，
也是用以指減速度的情況。這三個詞都是常用的詞，acceleration
用得最多，在解說時，有時會借用其他兩個詞語）

另外說明：
勻速圓周運動 = uniform circular motion, circular motion with uniform speed.
是 speed，而不是 velocity。
