英語想寫好作文，必須具備扎實的基本功，作文的基本功主要體現在詞、句、段三個方面。

單詞方面，積累單詞，擴大詞彙量，弄清詞的確切用法及相似詞的用法區別，以及很多固定短語、習語的用法，要准確地表達想要表達的意思。
