Anime,is animation in Japan and considered Japanese animation in the rest of the world.[1] Anime dates from about 1917.
Anime is in Japan is popular among a small community and is now viewed throughout the world. Anime itself is considered a form of limited animation. Anime can be broadcasted either through television or released directly to video, which are often called OVAs or OAV (Original Animation Video).
Anime can be hand drawn or computer-assisted. It is used in television series, films, video, video games, commercials, and internet-based releases, and represents all genres of fiction.
The history of anime begins at the start of the 20th century, when Japanese filmmakers experimented with the animation techniques that were being explored in France, Germany, the United States, and Russia.[2] The oldest known anime in existence was screened in 1917; it was a two minute clip of a samurai trying to test a new sword on his target, only to suffer defeat.[3]
By the 1930s, animation became an alternative format of storytelling compared to the underdeveloped live-action instry in Japan. Unlike America, the live-action instry in Japan remained a small market and suffered from budgeting, location, and casting restrictions. The lack of Western-looking actors, for example, made it next to impossible to shoot films set in Europe, America, or fantasy worlds that do not naturally involve Japan. Animation allowed artists to create any characters and settings.[4]
The success of Disney's 1937 feature film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs influenced Japanese animators.[5] Osamu Tezuka adapted and simplified many Disney animation techniques to rece the costs and number of frames in the proction. This was intended to be a temporary measure to allow him to proce material on a tight schele with an inexperienced animation staff.
During the 1970s, there was a surge of growth in the popularity of manga— were often later animated—especially those of Osamu Tezuka, who has been called a "legend"[6] and the "god of manga".[7][8] His work and that of other pioneers in the field, inspired characteristics and genres that are fundamental elements of anime today. The giant robot genre (known as "Mecha" outside Japan), for instance, took shape under Tezuka, developed into the Super Robot genre under Go Nagai and others, and was revolutionized at the end of the decade by Yoshiyuki Tomino who developed the Real Robot genre. Robot anime like the Gundam and Macross series became instant classics in the 1980s, and the robot genre of anime is still one of the most common in Japan and worldwide today. In the 1980s, anime became more accepted in the mainstream in Japan (although less than manga), and experienced a boom in proction. Following a few successful adaptations of anime in overseas markets in the 1980s, anime gained increased acceptance in those markets in the 1990s and even more in the 2000s.

一、介紹
人沒有犧牲的話就什麼都得不到，為了得到什麼東西，就必須付出同等的代價，這就是煉金術的『等價交換』原則！那時我們堅信那就是世界的真實！」
《鋼之煉金術師》是一部註定要成為經典的著作，所謂的「等價交換」原則表面上平平無奇，實際上卻有著極其深刻的思想意義。作者荒川弘其實是先想出「要得到某些東西就要付出某些東西」這樣的主題才決定採用「煉金術」的題材。不過作者荒川弘和《少年GANGAN》本身在日本的知名度都不是很高，《鋼之煉金術師》漫畫版默默的連載了數月，與《少年跳躍》這種旗艦級漫畫雜志上的作品相比人氣一直十分有限。這部作品之所以大紅大紫，可以說是因為趕上了恰當的時機。2003年，SQUARE和ENIX合並之後開始了大規模的品牌打造運動，而SQUARE的出版業務也成為其中重點發展的業務板塊之一。為了進一步提升《少年GANGAN》的人氣，SQUARE-ENIX決定把該雜志上連載的《鋼之煉金術師》進行動畫化，並且投入了大筆製作經費。2003年10月由水島精二先生擔任監督、伊藤嘉之、石垣純哉擔任角色和機械設定的動畫版《鋼之煉金術師》在日本上映後人氣持續高漲，帶動著《少年GANGAN》的發行量穩步提升。進入2004年，SQUARE的出版業務儼然形成了以《鋼之煉金術師》為核心，結合動畫、漫畫、小說、玩具、游戲等系列產品的發展態勢。在去年日本動漫情報志PAFU選出的2003年百大最優秀作品中，《鋼之煉金術師》擊敗如林的強敵奪下第一名，並且成為小學館第49回最佳少年漫畫賞的得主。今年2月，SQUARE-ENIX宣布漫畫單行本銷量已經超過800萬本，SQUARE-ENIX出版物部門銷售業績因此達到了65億日元，創下有史以來的最高記錄。SQUARE-ENIX更是信誓旦旦的要把《鋼之煉金術師》打造成與FF、DQ同等級的一流品牌。
與傳統動漫作品相比，《鋼之煉金術師》最為另類的地方在於其兩位主角殘缺的身體，失去了右手和左腿的愛德華與失去了整個身體的艾爾為了找回失去的一切踏上了尋找擁有極大力量的「賢者之石」的旅程，由於採用了機械義肢，人們將這位國家煉金術師稱為「鋼之煉金術師」。這部作品中時時刻刻給人以莫名的震撼，兩兄弟冒著生命危險發動了禁忌的「人體煉成」，「只是為了再見一次媽媽的笑臉……」，結果他們失敗了。為了尋找賢者之石，拋棄所有的牽掛，那一天他們一把火燒掉了自己的家，然後在愛德華的懷表上多了一行字——「別忘了10月3日」。煉金術是一種等價交換的法術，他們找齊了全部與人體等價的物質，然而，什麼能夠代替靈魂？

A young lion prince is born in Africa, thus making his uncle Scar the second in line to the throne. Scar plots with the hyenas to kill King Mufasa and Prince Simba, thus making himself King. After years of exile he is persuaded to return home to overthrow the usurper and claim the kingdom as his own thus completing the "Circle of Life".

The story is loosely (very loosely) based on Jules Verne's novel 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, which means they lifted the parts they liked and then ran off in a completely different direction with them. Set in 1889, the story focuses on Nadia, a 14 year circus acrobat and orphan with a mysterious past. When gem thieves appear to steal the Blue Water, a gem which is her one possession that may be a clue to her origin, she is rescued at the 1889 World Exposition in Paris by Jean. Jean is a 14 year old inventive genius whose inventions don't always work as well as he planned. The two of them lead the thieves on a chase that eventually lands them in the Atlantic Ocean where they are picked up by Captain Nemo and the Nautilus. The series twists and turns from there as Nadia (and we) discover more about the Blue Water, the real bad guys who are after it, and why the fate of the entire planet may ultimately depend on who has the Blue Water.
