一段短短的自我介紹，其實是為了揭開更深入的面談而設計的。一、兩分鍾的自我介紹，猶如商品廣告，在有限的時間內，針對客戶的需要，將自己最美好的一面，毫無保留地表現出來，不但要令對方留下深刻的印像，還要即時引發起購買欲。
1、自我認識

想一矢中的，首先必須認清自我，一定要弄清以下三個問題。 你現在是干什麼的？你將來要干什麼？你過去是干什麼的？

這三個問題不是按時間順序從過去到現在再到將來，而是從現在到將來再到過去。其奧妙在於：如果你被僱用，僱主選中的是現在的你，他希望利用的是將來的你，而這將來又基於你的歷史和現狀。

所以，第一個問題，你是干什麼的？現在是干什麼的？回答這個問題，要點是：你是你自己，不是別的什麼人。除非你把自己與別人區別開來，在共同點的基礎上更強調不同點，否則你絕無可能在眾多的應徵求職者中奪魁。 對於這第一個問題，自我反省越深，自我鑒定就越成功。

隨後，著手回答第二個問題：你將來要干什麼？如果你申請的是一份舉足輕重的工作，僱主肯定很關注你對未來的自我設計。你的回答要具體，合理，並符合你現在的身份，要有一個更別致的風格。

2、投其所好

清楚自己的強項後，便可以開始准備自我介紹的內容：包括工作模式、優點、技能，突出成就、專業知識、學術背景等。

好處眾多，但只有短短一分鍾，所以一切還是與該公司有關的好。如果是一間電腦軟體公司，應說些電腦軟體的話題；如是一間金融財務公司，便可跟他說錢的事，總之投其所好。

但有一點必須緊記：話題所到之處，必須突出自己對該公司可以作出的貢獻，如增加營業額、減低成本、發掘新市場等。

3、鋪排次序

內容的次序亦極重要，是否能抓住聽眾的注意力，全在於事件的編排方式。所以排在頭位的，應是你最想他記得的事情。而這些事情，一般都是你最得意之作。與此同時，可呈上一些有關的作品或紀錄增加印像分。
