Ⅱ 小學英語老師評語

現在,在英語課堂上用英語教英語已成為共識。但在與學生通過書面表達方式進行交流時,多數教師往往只看到評語的評價功能,卻忽略評語的語言示範功能與交際功能。例如,很多英語教師在批改作業時,除了打上一些「錯」或「對」的符號外,鮮有能像中文教師那樣,在學生的作業本子上寫上自己對學生作業比較具體和明確的看法或意見的。其實,教師的評語,是對學生英語書面表達能力和自主學習情況的評價和指導。我們用英語授課,在培訓學生的口語方面已「身先士卒」,做出了表率,讓學生在英語交際的海洋里學習游泳。現在,若我們用英語寫評語,就可以使學生在書面語的培訓方面也同樣「下水」了,讓學生在真實的英語交際環境中,書面語能力也得到提高。實際上,教師為學生的英語作業寫評語,不僅有利於提高學生的英語書面交際能力,而且有利於促進師生的知識、思想和情感的交流,還有利於提高學生自主學習的積極性。下面筆者就如何寫英語評語的問題,談一點看法和體會。

1.適應性

首先,給學生寫作業評語必須具有適應性:教師寫的評語是給學生看的,所以必須使用學生能看得懂的英語來寫,要切合學生的實際,符合學生的個性心理發展。也就是說教師在學生作業上的評語所使用的詞彙和語法知識不能過高或過低於學生的現有水平。其次,應做到循序漸進:由簡到繁、由易到難、由一般化到個性化。這兩條是寫好英語作業評語的前提。當然評語中偶爾可以有幾個生詞。

有時候學生通過上下文的猜測就能理解,或者通過查閱字典來解決也能對學生有好處。這樣做,有時甚至還能起到「努力一跳,搞到桃子」的促進作用。例如:

·will you please do you work better next time?

·well, your handwriting is very good.

·wonderful, your english is very good and your written

answerareclearthroughout.

· that' sgreat! please keepupthework.success comes

byhardworkandconstant efforts.

·you are an excellent student who has a natural gift for

oralskills inenglish. 2.及時性

這里說的及時應有兩個意義:(l)對學生的作業及時反饋。首先,學生在家裡獨立做作業,他們的學習節奏、學習方式也許各不相同,這樣,教師的及時反饋就顯得很重要。也就是說教師如盡早地批改學生的作業,就能及時了解學生的學習進步狀況及學習效果,以便掌握情況進行指導。其次,學生在做作業時,會遇到這樣那樣一些特殊的問題和想法,他們在急切地盼望著老師的評價和指導,所以,教師應急學生之所急,及時地給予恰當的評價。(2)及時地應用學生新近學到的一些語法知識和詞彙來寫評語。這樣做有助於學生對新知識加深理解和強化記憶,最起碼也可以讓學生看到一次知識運用的實例。例如:

·you are great .i』mproud of you.

·you』ve made fabulous progress and i do not doubt that

you'll succeed.

·wonderful! i appreciate what you have done in your

exercise-book and believe you'll be successful in your

english study.

· i』ll be glad to see that you will do your homework better

next time.

·this is the best i've seen today.

· the harder you work, the sooner you'll improve.

有下劃線的是形容詞或副詞的比較級和最高級形式,假如學生們剛學過這類知識,及時地給他們寫這類批語就能取得很好的效果。

3.鼓勵嘗試,努力讓每一位學生都走向成功

現代教育心理學認為:成就動機能夠很好地激發人的學習動機。學生們都是渴望成功的,成功的動機是一種巨大的情緒力量,它能使學生產生主動求知的心理沖動,這在做作業中也會表現出來。因此,教師在給學生布置作業時應注意盡量少一些千遍一律的抄寫題,多一些可適當自由發揮的題目或問題,讓不同程度和有不同愛好的學生都有自己發揮想像的空間和提出不同觀點的機會,然後不失時機地給予表揚或鼓勵的評語。這樣,可以使每個學生都有成功的機會。例如,在教學英語有關食品方面的內容時,我們布置的作業大可不必讓學生抄寫vegetable,

beef,rice, tomato, bean等等英語單詞,可以提出一些實際問題讓他們去解決、去回答:

· what's yourfavouritefood? what chinese diet do you

like? what western diet do you like? what do you like for

lunch? what kinds of food do you usually have

everyday?…然後再根據學生的口答情況,教師給予不同的表揚或鼓勵:

·i agree with you that we should eat healthy food and the

chinese food isthe healthiest in the world. i marvel at

the maturity of such a young child as you.

4.真情感動學生

作業不僅僅是師生間教學信息的互相反饋,而且是聯系和溝通師生感情的橋梁。在作業中,學生的思想和自主學習情況,細心的教師都能覺察到。同樣,從教師的評語中學生也能領悟出教師對他是否真誠、有信心和有責任心。教師對學生的努力一定要有切合實際的鼓勵;對他們取得的成績、進步,要在評語中表

現出發自內心的贊賞和喜悅;對學生作業中的過錯和疏忽一定要誠心誠意地以恰當的方式指出;對於一些成績落後的學生要有同情心和責任心。贊揚要恰如其分,批評要適當委婉,重在鼓勵。例如:

·although you werelate in achieving, you have caught up

well with your studies. i would like to see you getting fast

development of your written and oral skills in english.

· you have don your work better this time.i believe that

nothing is impossible as long as you work hard .

· practicemakes perfect.i'd like to see you participating

more in class activities.

·it is the same in studying as in eating, he who doesit

isnothewhoseesitdone.

·as fire tries gold, so does adversity try courage. nobody

knows what he can do till he has tried. you have made a good

start.not only energy,but also persistence is necessary to

success.

有道是「精誠所至,金石為開」,教師的熱情和真誠必然會在一定程度上引起學生的思想轉折和學習成績的飛躍。

5.平等地與學生開展評論性的討論

我們應尊重學生的個性、人格和創新精神。教師應以學生的學習夥伴、益友的身份介入學生的自主學習中,而不要總以「長者」的姿態居高臨下地指手劃腳,總以教訓的語氣評頭論足;教師應以平等的態度與學生開展評論性的討論,營造一種平等、自由的學術氣氛,讓學生與教師能在作業和評語中自由地交流思想,

讓學生擁有創造性地運用所學知識的機會和自由。例如:

·nothing is more precious than time. do you agree with me?

would you like to tell me your own opinions and your

timetable?

· what do you think about this? is that right? it is only a

suggestion. i』d like to see you persisting with your

opinions if you're right.

·the great use of a school ecation is not only to teach

you things but to teach you the art of learning. do you

think so?

6.因材施教,授人以漁

貫徹素質教育的思想,把學生的綜合素質作為衡量「材」的標准,把傳授知識當成是為學生的多方面發展服務的,是為開啟學生的潛能、培養學生的思維方式和能力服務的。在寫評語時,除了努力幫助學生提高文化知識外,還應承認學生個體之間學習能力、掌握知識程度的差別,應該因材施教、授人以漁。保護那

些學習成績落後的、處於不利條件下的學生個體的繼續發展權利,讓他們也能得到繼續發展。在批改他們的作業時,溫和地指出錯誤的同時,指出他的優點以資鼓勵,那怕是一丁點的優點。例如:

·where there is a will, there's a way.

·itisnot helps but obstacles that make a man.

· it is a rule never to be forgotten that whatever strikes

strongly should be described while the first impression

remains fresh upon the mind.

·your answers shou you have real ability in the course, and

you are developing increasing depth of thought and clarity

of expression inyour written work. but there are some

grammar mistakes in it.

· your work is a marvel of neatness and order. i am sure

there is nothing difficult for us to learn. if we learn it,

the difficult thing will be easy; if we don』t,the easy thing

will be difficult. don't you think so ?

· you have given a lot of facts on thewhole.that is

good. if theyhad been putina more logical order, the

whole essay would have been cleaner.

當然,寫好英語作業評語的要求還遠遠不止以上幾點,教師不僅需要不斷提高自己的英語書面表達能力,更重要的是要深人研究學生的心理特點、思想情緒、個人愛好、課外實踐活動、學習習慣以及英語程度等等,以便言之有物、以理服人、因材施教。總之,給學生寫評語既是一件艱苦而又有意義的事,又是一門學問,寫得好會給學生培養和提高書面交際能力帶來很大的幫助,其作用不可低估。

語言的學習在於運用,所以教師在寫評語時應運用所學的知識,以使學生能加強理解和記憶。例如:

No pains,no gains.I hope you will make more progress in the future.
Whatgood work!You are the pride of our class.
Work harder,and you will make more progress.

利用所學過的短語、句型和時態給學生寫評語就能取得很好效果,可以幫助學生鞏固和運用語言。

三、評語要有利於激發學生的學習熱情
學生有被尊重、被表揚、被認可的需要。在寫作業時,希望得到教師的表揚和鼓勵,這是學生精神上的需要。如果精神上的需要長久得不到滿足,他們就會產生消極的思想。因此,需要是學生學習行為的動力之一。需要的滿足直接影響學生積極性的發揮,要充分發揮學生的積極性,對學生進行有效地鼓勵是教育的策略之一。激勵就是激發鼓勵。一般地講,激勵就是以某種刺激為引誘,調動人的主動性、積極性和創造性。教師的評語就是刺激學生的誘因。學生有不同的性格,有不同的需要,那麼激勵的方法也不同。教師針對不同的學生及其作業,在不同場合所作的評語可激發學生的學習熱情,讓優等生更上一層樓,使中等生改正缺點、發揚優點,使暫時落後的學生能克服畏懼心理,樹立信心。所以對優等生的作業表揚中要有指正,教師可通過評語向他們提出更高要求。例如:

四、作業評語要能體現師生感情的交流
作業不僅是師生間教學信息的相互反饋,而且是聯系和溝通師生感情的橋梁。在作業中教師可以覺察到學生的思想和自主學習情況,從評語中學生也能領悟出教師對他是否關心、有信心和責任心。因此我們要充分利用作業評語加深師生情感交流。評語言辭懇切,切中要害;或熱情鼓勵、或委婉告誡……始終使學生保持清醒的頭腦、強烈的興趣、昂揚的鬥志,激勵並堅定他們"青出於藍而勝於藍"的信念。通過評語,教師盡可把祝福、問候、關切、激勵、真誠、信任之情化作甘甜的泉水,去滋潤學生的心田,引起師生教與學的共鳴,達到教與學兩者的和諧與統一。
例如在節假日或某學生生日前,教師可以給予學生一些祝願語:

3 反饋語

反饋語是課堂教學活動的重要組成部分,是教師評價和評估學生課堂表現的重要手段,也是推動教學活動進展的有效方法。反饋語是教師對學生課堂表現的一種評價方式。教師要注意樹立評價意識。不僅要對學生課堂上的學習表現給予評價,對學生情感、態度的表現都應通過評價給予鼓勵,達到激勵學生的目的。
