① 六年級孩子英語學不會怎麼辦
目前河南地區以人教版的英語教材為主要教材，改版後的教材從知識難度上來講並不難，但是隨著年級的升高會學習到一些較為復雜的詞彙。
小學的英語教材基本與生活息息相關，如四年級下冊Unit 2 What time is it?，主要講的是對時間的表示；六年級上冊Unit 1How can I get there?主要講的是問路。
由此可見除了個別的單詞比較復雜意外，從知識層面上來講，並不復雜，而且對於語法的要求很少。
那麼問題來了：
二、為什麼不難還學不會
雖然英語不難，但是還是有很多的客觀現狀限制了學習的進度與效果。
1、教學進度
從教學進度來講，大部分學校小學三年級開始接觸學習英語，個別學校從一年級開始學習英語，教學進度的差異化造成學校與學校之間的進度差異，增加了學校的管理與授課成本，同時學生心理也產生抵觸心態。
2、任課老師
在鄭州市范圍內，除了個別學校以外，大部分學校存在師資匹配的差異，不管是地市還是鄭州市范圍內，英語授課老師缺乏，多數英語科目授課為其他科目老師，如數學老師或語文老師兼英語老師現象非常普遍。
3、學校重視程度
小學階段對英語的重視程度簡單理解就是兩個字：應付。
主要在兩個方面：
1、上課頻次
正常情況下，小學階段的英語課，大概3-4次/周，平均每天不到一節課。
2、課後作業
小編了解到的情況是這個樣的，英語的課後作業一般情況下1次/周，同時兩節課之間間隔時間較長，多數學生會選擇把英語作業留到下節課上課之前做。
英語作業一般檢查較為鬆散，經常由班幹部進行檢查或者不檢查。
那麼面對這種情況，小學英語到底應該如何學習呢？面對小升初有應該如何准備呢？首先我們要搞懂一個問題：英語不重要嗎？
三、英語真的不重要嗎？
在國際化日趨明顯的當今社會，再不了解英語的人也會說個APP、PPT之類的「洋詞」，學好英文的生活實用性不言而喻，更重要的是在小升初考試中，英語佔40份，然而，實際上並不僅僅是40份，僅以2018年小升初試卷威力，設計2篇英語文章，如果看不懂文章，就別提做題了，我曾給孩子做過試卷分析，發現他數學幾乎滿分（一直在學奧數），但是因為看不懂第二篇英語閱讀，導致與文章相關的所有題全軍覆沒，事實上，裡面涉及到的數學題他並不是不會做，只是由於看不懂，完全不知道題干是什麼。由此可見英語不單單是考英語知識，還會影響到其他科目，學好英語至關重要！在小升初的擇校考試中，對英語能力有一定要求的，如果想要上好的學校，請首先重視英語。
四、小學英語應該如何學習
英語應該如何學習英語主要分為兩大塊：一是單詞，二是語法。
關於單詞
我們先來說單詞，從小學課本上、試卷中不難發現，小學期間側重於積累日常基礎詞彙，考試對學生的要求基本是能識會寫。
詞彙是英語學習的基石，基礎打好了，日後的學習才會輕松，這一部分沒有什麼捷徑可走，多背多記才是硬道理，多讀多抄寫，相互提問是幫助孩子記憶的有效方法，只有大量重復才能記得牢固。
當然，這需要家長的配合，督促孩子，不時提問。
關於語法
再來看語法，在小學期間並未涉及太深的語法，因為基礎題只需把課文例文、例句熟讀會背就可得份，但真正得英語能力還在於對語法得掌握，真正拉開分數差距得往往也是這些題。
我們常說兩句話：
只知其然，不知其所以然。
只會背誦是一中盲目記憶，掌握語法就一通百通了。比如一句簡單的「My mum loves me。（我媽媽愛我），為什麼love要加「s」，為什麼用「me」而不是用「I」，不都是「我」的意思嗎？這就是語法。
