第二周 7月14日 星期四 晴
今天放學回來，媽媽還沒做好晚飯。我坐在窗前，拿起爸爸給我新買的「小故事中的大智慧」系列叢書——《虛掩的門》。我隨手一翻，一個醒目的標題映入我的眼簾——「大器之材」。我急不可耐的讀了下去。
原來這個故事講的是：信息時代的天才、微軟電腦公司大亨、美國首富比爾·蓋茨，上小學四年級時被推薦到學校圖書館幫忙整理圖書。他聰穎好學，盡管身材瘦小，工作卻十分認真。他每天來得很早，不遺餘力的在書架的迷宮中穿來穿去，像個小偵探一樣的把人們放錯位置的圖書揀出來，然後再放回它應該放的地方。後來他家要搬到附近另外一個住宅區，他也被轉學離開了圖書館。可他心裡老記掛著「我走了誰來整理那些站錯隊的書呢？」想來想去，他讓媽媽又把他轉回了原來的學校。他告訴圖書管理員，「現在爸爸用車接送我上學，如果爸爸不帶我，我就走路來。」
看完這個故事，我被比爾那做事認真的精神所感動。一個十幾歲的孩子，做事如此認真，決心如此堅定，則天下無不可為之事。我想到，在許多偉大或傑出的人物身上，總有許多優於或異於常人的地方，這些都會或遲或早的在他們的生平事跡中顯現出來。成名之前，這些可能被人忽視，成名之後，人們才想到了他們當初的不凡。但不管事前或事後的記錄，無疑都是留給人類的一份精品。
第三周 7月21日 星期四 雨
在這周，最讓人操心的就是3A學校的考試了。因為這期我們學習的內容太多了。奧語有許多內容不但要理解，而且還要背誦。什麼《三字經》、《增廣賢文》、成語接龍、古詩和詞語，要理解和背誦的東西真多。為了考試能夠取得好成績，我每天晚上都在背誦、默寫和復習，加上還有奧數、閱讀和作文，我每天都睡得很晚很晚。
考試了。當我走進考場，拿到試卷時，我懸著的心總算落了地。題目並不難，不到半個小時我就做完了。檢查了幾遍，發現和改正了幾個錯誤，就交卷了。我告訴媽媽，這次應該考得還可以。我對自己很有信心。
第四周 7月28日 星期四 晴
在這周里，我看了許多文章，其中有一篇叫《成功》的小故事引起了我的極大興趣。故事講的是發生在法國著名作家貝爾納身上的一件有趣的事。
有一次，法國一家報紙進行有獎智力競賽，其中有這樣一道題目：如果法國最大的博物館盧浮宮失火了，情況只允許搶救出一幅畫，你會搶那一幅？
結果在報社收到的成千上萬人的回答中，貝爾納以最佳答案獲得這個題目的最高獎金。他的回答是：「我搶離出口最近的那幅畫。」
我想，貝爾納的思維與我們常人的思維就是不一樣。我們的回答也可能是：「我搶最珍貴的那幅畫。」可貝爾納的回答卻是別出心裁。
這個故事告訴我們：成功的最佳目標不是最有價值的那個，而是最有可能實現的那個。
第五周 8月4日 星期四 晴
這一周，3A學校的第二期奧語和奧數班又開學了。開學的第一天，老師要發第一期的考卷，公布考試成績。
上課了，老師拿著厚厚的一沓考捲走上講台。同學們個個屏住呼吸，等待著老師宣布自己的成績。教室里靜悄悄的，60多雙眼睛緊緊地盯著老師手裡的那張紙，猜想著自己的分數。教室外面的走廊上，站了許多家長，他們紛紛湧向教室門口，不時地朝教室裡面張望，生怕露聽了自己孩子的考試成績。
老師說話了：「同學們，我們上次考試的題目比較難，全部用的是各個重點中學去年在我們學校選拔學生的考題。根據去年的錄取情況，這次奧數考試凡能考到50分以上的，就有可能被錄取。40分以上的同學佔到全班人數的70%以上。現在，我先宣布一下考分在85分以上的同學名單，然後把考卷發給大家。」

今天，我寫完作業，想放鬆一下，便打開電腦，玩起了前幾天剛剛裝上的電腦游戲——《魔獸爭霸》。
我今天選了獸族，對戰人類。我讓我的英雄「先知」帶兵先去練級，等它練到5級，有了大魔法時才回來。這時，我移動滑鼠，看了一下地圖。我看見人族部隊的「血魔法師」由於自不量力，在與我「金礦看守」的搏鬥中嚴重失利。我想，這正是我進攻人族的絕好機會。於是，我點動滑鼠，帶著我的「步兵狼騎」、「雙足飛龍」和「牛頭人酋長」去攻擊人族基地。「血魔法師」一看我大部隊來勢兇猛，為了保住基地，只好應戰，結果被我一舉殲滅。我方乘勝追擊，拿下人族基地，取得了這次戰斗的徹底勝利。
這個電腦游戲，我本來不會完。上次看小堂弟玩得十分上癮，也慢慢學會了它。但我知道，玩電腦游戲，堅決不能上癮，要能控制住自己。只有在寫完作業後休息時玩一小會兒，千萬不能因為玩游戲而影響了學習。
第七周 8月16日 星期四 雨
這一周的天氣變化無常，一會兒晴天，悶熱得人喘不過起來；一會兒下雨，下得好幾天也晴不了。
今天我去上課時，晴空萬里，熱得使人只穿著短褲背心。可上完課走出教室，天上卻下起了大雨。由於出來時沒帶雨傘，我和媽媽只有冒雨騎著自行車急急的往回趕。一路上，地面積水，來來往往的車輛和行人特別多，大家都好像是在急著趕路。
我和媽媽騎車走在人行道上，可公交車一輛接一輛的往前擠，誰也不給誰讓路，害得我和媽媽渾身都濺滿了泥水。沒辦法，我和媽媽只有推著自行車前進。這時，我看見人行道上的花傘一個接一個，好像一個五顏六色的花隊。在我們的前面，有一個人的傘面總是朝上翹著，怎麼也拉不下來。好不容易拉下來了，風一吹又上去了。遠遠望去，就像手裡擎著一個帶把的大黑鍋。我感到十分好笑，路旁的人也都哈哈的地笑著。
