一、加強技能訓練

二、JEFC、SEFC對中學階段所涉及到的語法知識、各種句型、習慣用法、語音知識、詞彙員組作了循環式地再現，而且每隔幾個單元都有一個側重點，因此做好每一階段的學習小結是很重要的。首先從語法方面 總結。如：現在完成時是初中階段的一個語法重點，教材安排在第三冊第6-9單元學習，那麼在第9單元學完後就要進行總結，最少要總結兩次，每次15分鍾左右，把現在完成時的結構（陳述、疑問、否定、回答）、動詞變化、使用范圍、時間狀語、與一般過去時的區別等等加以歸納總結。其次是對詞彙的總結。每個單元都有一些不易記住的難詞，專門用一個小本子，把這些詞總結在一起，經常看看、讀讀，效果很好。
這種階段性學習小結一般可分為三步：
1、把幾個單元的課文讀一遍，形成初步完整的印象，可以有效的喚起回憶，為深入復習打好基礎。
2、根據每單元後的 Checkpoint找出這幾個單元的難點、重點，在分析對比、歸納，綜合中加深理解，鞏固記憶。
3、在聽說讀寫訓練中使這些知識加以鞏固。
