關於模擬測試。尚未進行過模考的同學應該利用上午時段，嚴格按照考試時間一氣呵成為自己進行一到三次模考，試題不建議使用模擬題，建議利用06年6月24日四級改革以後的四套真題，因為目前還沒有一套模擬題可以像真題一樣在難度方向上更像真題，大家一定要通過真題來檢驗自己的實力，在四級准備的過程中不光是一個能力的鍛煉與提升，同時也是一個心態與體力的鍛煉與提升，通過模考來熟悉考試時的心理狀態以用腦強度，盡量避免出現在考場上大腦一片空白或是在聽完聽力以後感覺耗盡了精力沒辦法讓自己在集中精神在閱讀文章上的情況。
以快速閱讀為例，可能出現的變化情況都出現過了：文章有小標題，或是沒有小標題;題型是判斷+填空，或是四選一+填空。因此一定要熟悉這4套真題中快速閱讀的考法，注重使用尋讀的方法，首先精讀標題、文章首段以及小標題，了解文章主題和結構，然後根據後面題干中的關鍵詞結合小標題的內容提示回到原文中找定位，需要注意的是不要像做仔細閱讀一樣一次性把10道題全部看一遍，沒時間也沒必要，建議看一題做一題，按照題目順序在文章中找定位。四選一題型與仔細閱讀的方法類似，難度低很多，基本上沒有高混選項，只需找到與原文對應的同義替換即可。判斷題型中的NG選項難度最大，對應的是文章中沒有提及的內容，僅僅是關鍵詞在文章中沒有找到是不足以判定的，應該對題干內容整體把握。填空題如果在文章中定位的內容讀不懂，建議做一個簡單的減法，用原文減題干，共有的成分劃掉，剩下的照抄作為答案。
選詞填空部分，重點是15個備選答案能夠認識幾個，建議重點背已經考過的選項、完形填空中的選項、閱讀文章中不認識的單詞以及四級高頻詞彙。做題中建議首先把選項按照詞性分類，然後根據前後詞的詞性和文章內容來判斷應該填入的詞性和詞義。
仔細閱讀部分，文章長度和段落數都在增加，題型向細節性方向發展。做題中重點精讀首段和每一段第一次出現的結論句，了解文章主題結構，重點精讀有關鍵詞定位或是出現重要考點，比如：轉折、比較、因果、下結論或總結性的語言，其他細節性的信息應該略讀甚至不讀，因為干擾選項往往來自於這些地方，精讀後反而會增加干擾選項的迷惑度，避免被迷惑信息干擾的最好方法就是不去面對誘惑。細節題的題干都是文章中某一信息點的變形，因此要找到答案一定要找到題干在原文中的出處，在把原文和選項相比較，正確選項應該是對原文的精確改寫，應該符合兩點特徵：形式對應和含義對應，比如原文中出現比較，那麼正確選項中也應該對應出現相應形式，同時含義應該是原文的同義替換，相同的意思換了一種表達方式。需要注意的是選項與原文極其相似甚至照抄原文的情況下一定慎重選擇，太容易到手的成功總是從天堂到地獄的通行證。
真題的重要性不是做一遍就可以充分體會的，因此對於近年的真題要反復做，每一次都會有進一步的體會，考試前3天不建議再做新題了，應該反復翻看以往做過的題，反復提醒自己做錯的題目的原因，避免在考試中被同一塊石頭絆倒兩次。
考試臨場
關於心態，在考場上能否發揮出自己應有的水平很大程度上取決於心態。臨上考場前就不要再去想自己沒有復習到的會不會考，為自己徒增壓力，而是要明確自己的長項，告訴自己只要在自己的長項上把該拿到的分拿到，短板上盡自己最大努力就不後悔，盡人事聽天命，結果往往不會太差。如果題型和預期的有變化也不要慌張，快速閱讀沒有小標題就不讀，反而節省了讀小標題的時間，文章難度可能會增加，但不是加的你一個人，所以不用慌。07年12月的快速閱讀因為突然變成了四選一，很多同學就慌了，正確率大大下降，考完了以後在練習中再做第二遍的時候才發現難度其實並沒有提高，猛拍大腿，別忘了，在練習中我們仔細閱讀來回來去練的就是四選一，怎麼會不熟悉呢!
關於時間，作文要在被考前至少隔天寫一篇，鍛煉由思路轉化為文章的動筆能力，考試中要盡快寫完，為快速閱讀爭取時間，特別說明的是9：55分要收作文和快速閱讀的答題卡，對於的速度慢的同學建議做一題填一題機讀卡，避免出現辛苦做完沒時間填機讀卡的人間悲劇。深度閱讀部分建議先做兩篇仔細閱讀，每篇文章的時間不少於9分鍾，4分鍾看文章5分鍾做題，找到文章定位後應該把精力盡可能的放在對比原文和選項上，對於速度較慢的同學可以拉長時間至多到11分鍾，同樣把多出來的時間重點放在對比原文和選項上。選詞填空分值比例很低，在剩下的4到7分鍾內把認識的選項放在合適的位置，不認識的選項按照詞性蒙一下，然後狠心跳過，告訴自己要“舍、得”。

We cannot fail to notice that countless uncivilized behaviors exist in our daily lives, such as spitting, talking loudly, littering, saying nasty words in public places and so forth. All these are bad manners that we should not lose sight of. As an ancient land enjoying a splendid civilization spanning over 5,000 years, China is witnessing a surge in improper acts that every Chinese citizen should feel ashamed of. Uncivilized behaviors by a host of Chinese both at home and abroad have seriously affected China』s image, according to an editorial posted on People Daily』s official website.
As Chinese, we should not get offended when others point out our weaknesses but should focus more attention on improving ourselves. On my personal level, while enjoying a host of conveniences the credit card may bring, we couldn』t afford to ignore a conspicious fact: in most cases, parents are our sole financial sources. Instead of spending without any restrict, we are supposed to put studies on the top of our agenda and move ourselves beyond heavy dependence upon our parents
