英語四級聽力長對話答題技巧

長對話雖然也採用兩人日常對話的形式,但是與短對話有很大的區別。長對話不僅字數大幅增多,約200~300單詞,而且在難度上也大大提高。短對話涉及的只是一個「點」,而長對話涉及的則是一個「面」。短對話的答案一般是「顯而易見」的,而長對話涉及的內容更深入,它有一個「中心議題」,中心議題正是該「面」的凝聚點,對話雙方都是圍繞中心而展開話題。
按題材分類,長對話主要有社會生活類、人物故事及其歷史類、科普知識類和文化教育類。
按照題型分類,長對話主要有細節題和推理判斷題。長對話大部分都是細節題,命題點常常是對話中所談論的某個時間、地點、原因、事件等。當然,題目的正確選項與對話內容中的某些字詞完全相同的還是屬於少數,細節題主要以答案是對話細節的同義轉述為主。正確選項不再是對話中某個細節的再現,而是換了一種形式來表達,它們是對話中某個細節的同義轉述。因此考生即使聽到了對話中的某個細節,還得注意它的其他表達方式,比如近義轉換、句型轉換等。推理題在長對話中所佔比例較小,每一套題中可能涉及兩、三題。推理題是相對較難的一種題型,需要考生對某個細節有深層次的理解。由於推理不是憑空進行,而是建立在細節的基礎上的合乎邏輯的推斷,因此考生有必要捕捉對話的細節,找到與需要推理的相關部分,及時做筆記,還要綜合問題加以分析,這樣才能選出正確的答案來。
長對話和短對話的不同特點也對我們的答題方法和答題技巧提出了不同的要求,以下兩點需要注意。
1.預覽選項,預測主題
雖然長對話的篇幅增加,但我們要看到它的另外一面,其透露出的信息比短對話內容更完整,情景更具體。所以,預覽長對話的題目選項就變得尤為重要。一篇長對話通常有三至四個題目,每個題目四個選項。當我們瀏覽完四個題目後面的選項後,基本上就能夠推測出文章的主題和談論的內容。這對於我們接下來的聽力理解很有幫助。
在瀏覽選項時,我們應當充分利用錄音播放之前的空當時間把每個選項的關鍵詞劃出來,以便在聽完錄音開始選題時節省反應時間,快速選出正確答案。

22.A) She』s worried about the seminar.
B) The man keeps interrupting her.
C) She finds it too hard.
D) She lacks interest in it.
23.A) The lecturers are boring.
B) The course is poorly designed.
C) She prefers philosophy to English.

看完前面的第22題至第25題,我們可以從22題裡面出現的單詞seminar,23題裡面出現的單詞lecture、course,24題裡面的單詞major等猜測出該長對話的題材是文化教育類,內容可能是學生對某個專業或科目的興趣問題。
2.捕捉信息,速記要點
由於篇幅的增加,短時間內記住這么多的內容難度非常大。所以在聽錄音的時候養成做筆記的習慣至關重要。由於聽力考試的答案都會在最後轉塗到答題卡上,原試卷上可以隨意的做標記而不會影響得分。為了節省時間,避免分心,可以把筆記就寫在考試試卷的相關題目旁邊空白處。筆記主要記下長對話中的關鍵詞和關鍵信息。同時我們要學會用自己熟悉的符號或縮寫把與題干有緊密聯系的信息簡要記下來,將諸如年、月、日、星期、時間、年齡、價碼等數字和關鍵詞盡量記下來,並做好必要的換算,對於人命和地名可以記下首字母或漢字,長句則抓住主要內容,這對於提高正確率大有幫助。
綜上所述,可以把這部分的解題要領概括為如下步驟:(1)先看選項,預測內容及問題;(2)抓住對話開頭部分以及對話的提問方的問題,理解對話內容核心;(3)扼要記錄,以助辨認事實;(4)抓住對話結尾部分,弄清對話結果;(5)運用常識,做出合理推斷;聽清問題,避免「答非所問」。

四級的英文對話一般在聽力中出現,舉幾個對話並附答案僅供參考。
M: I wish I hadn』t thrown away that reading list! W: I thought you might regret it. That』s why I picked it up from the waste paper basket and left it on the desk. Q: What do we learn from the conversation? B

M: How do you like the new physician who replaced Dr. Andrew? W: I hear that the Edwards are thinking of buying another house. M: Should they be doing that with all the other expenses they have to pay? Anyhow, they are over 70 now, their present house is not too bad. Q: What does the man imply?C
[A] The Edwards are quite well-off. [B] The Edwards should cut down on their living expenses. [C] It'll be unwise for the Edwards to buy another house. [D] It's too expensive for the Edwards to live in their present house.
M: I』ll have the steak, French Fries, and let』s see, chocolate ice-cream for dessert. W: Oh-oh, you know these things will ruin your health, too much fat and sugar, how about ordering some vegetables and fruit instead? Q: Where does the conversation most probably take place?C
