應對英語四級聽力，這就需要我們對四級聽力有很好的把握，可以對這些英語四級考試技巧有更深了解。
一、調整心理狀態
心理狀態就是一個人的心情。心情的好壞，會直接地影響我們工作、學習的效果。你也能看到，在體育比賽中，由於心理狀態的起伏，參賽選手的發揮會跟著有較大的起伏。同樣的道理，心理狀態的正常與否對參加聽力考試的同學來說也至關重要。心理方面的任何失衡都會使你手忙腳亂，得分率降低，平時掌握的內容也有可能發揮不出來;相反，保持良好的心態，則會使你如虎添翼，發揮出最佳水平。

此外，還要注意語音、語調的問題。中國考生對英語中以語調、語氣表意的句子不熟悉，從而難以領會說話者要表達的真實意圖，結果造成失分。因此，應試者應對這一項加以研究，並加強訓練。以陳述句為表達形式而句末用升調，表示說話人的懷疑，不同意或不完全同意對方的觀點。句子結構是陳述形式，但句末用的是降調或低升調，表示說話人的無所謂或樂觀的態度，不表示懷疑。感嘆句用升調結尾，表懷疑。疑問句句末用升調表示懷疑，而用降調不表懷疑。如Is he honest?用降調表示說話者認為他是誠實的。同學們對連續和弱讀的現象也應有所了解。

五、掌握因果邏輯

聽力理解部分的目的在於測試考生獲取口頭信息的能力，選材原則為：對話部分： 日常生活中一般對話，句型結構和內容不太復雜；短文部分：材料熟悉，結構不太復雜的故事，講述或敘述等，所有詞彙不超過大綱、詞彙表所規定的四級詞彙范圍；聽寫填空部分：大約120詞彙，l 0個左右空格，全文以大學英語教學大綱規定的語速朗讀三遍。這個部分主要目的在於考核考生聽和記的能力。接下來通過分析大學英語四級聽力每個部分的問題類型，我們具體談論一下各個部分的應試技巧。
一、對話式聽力有兩種類型
第一種類型中每組對話一般是在一男女之間進行的一問一答， 問題一般由先講話的人提出，題目均以問題形式出現，其中多數的特殊疑問句。這些問題涉及的內容大致歸納如下：

這類問題主要是測試文章的主要思想。提問方式一般為：W hat is the passage mainly about?W hat can w e learn from this passage? What is the main：idea of the passage?等等。集中精力聽好短文開頭， 因為四級聽力短文一般會開門見山，把中心思想置於文章的開頭。
2. 事實細節題
考察細節包括具體時間、地點、主要人物、事件、各類數字等， 問題一般為：wh—questiuon形式。這種題型要求考生聽到文中出現時間、數字時一定要特別敏感，及時做好筆記；文中一旦出現以因果連詞(如：because，so，e to等)和轉折連詞(如but，however，though等)引導的句子，也要格外留心，這些地方往往就是考點。
3. 對錯判斷題
攻口：Which of the following is true／not tree，according to the passage? Which of the following is not mentioned?等等。這種題型一定要聽清提問， 對於有沒有not一詞要弄清楚，一般情況下，not一詞會重讀。

1. 理解好題意，做到心中有數
在聽寫考試中，我們發現不少考生由於過度緊張而忽視了題意，導致本應該得到的分從手中錯過。今年Dictation考試中 從one to seven應填single word；從eight to ten則要求use your words to finish the sentence，有的考生在做第8～1 0個填空時，由於沒弄懂題意， 只想著全部聽寫下來，結果感到速度太快，記不下來，聽寫部分意思雖然理解了，也沒用自己的話來表達， 白白地丟掉了好幾分。
2. 搶看短文，預測聽寫內容
聽寫的短文一般在1O0 200詞左右，共重復三遍，考生可利用聽正文前的空隙，略看一下短文，做到「有的放矢」。去年6月份大學英語四級考試中的聽寫文章， 考生只要掃一眼便會知道是一篇關於學生壓力與父母關系的問題，這樣就不會措手不及，心慌意亂，影響正常水平的發揮了。
3. 使用速記方法，從文中找出答案
