Time spent at a university is a most worthwhile period in a young person's life. This is a time when a student begins to form his or her ideas about life in general. Attending classes and studying in the library keep a student busy and provide him or her with access to valuable information, adding to his or her knowledge base.
Campus life can also be rich and colorful. Most universities offer a variety of extracurricular activities such as sports events, contests, and other social gatherings, enabling the students to experience relief fi'om study and homework. Students often form lifelong friendships through the varied experiences of university life.
During the time a student spends at university, he not only develops his intellectual ahilites,he also develops social skills as well as knowledge and wisdom necessary for choosing a future career. By learning how to balance intense study and recreation, a student will be well prepared for the challenges of future responsibilities.

There are mainly two types of students you are very likely to meet in any university:one type likes to be engaged in all kinds of social activities while the other is reluctant to do son becuse they want to spend more time on their studies. Concerning the first type of student, they believe that by getting involved in social or bussiness activities, they can gain insights into some things a textbook could never teach them. And the skills and experience they obtain ring the work sill be of benefit to them in their future career.
However, for students who intent to be inlged in their studies, academic work is of utmost importance. They maintain that the chief and the only obligation for a student is to study. Therefore, they treasure the four years of their university life and try to make full use of it.
I am in favour of taking a part-time job. I don't thind taking a part-time job will waste my time. On the contrary, I can develop my total personality, such as personal qualities and social skills. I hold the opinion that students having taken a part -time job will adapt more readily to their work environment upon graation. Given a chance, I would not hesitate a moment to take a part-time job in order to develop my total personality rather just my academic ability.
