我是經歷過高考的學生，就我的觀念來看，只要高考還存在一天，中國的高中無論是出於內自身利容益，還是出於為學生利益都應該嚴格服務應試教育。說培養學生素質什麼的在當前背景下不可能成立，而且「勞民傷財」。用英語授課增加了聽課的負擔，不利於對學生應試能力的培養，特別是對一些基礎較差的學生。
另外，我高中就讀的是重點中學，但在我的記憶中，英語老師實在普遍不具備英語授課的能力。一堂課老師貌似是用英語講了半天，其實無外乎都是些OK GOOD TURN TO PAGE THAT IS TO SAY之類的像哄小孩一樣的東西，很難說學生聽力能有什麼提高。稍微講到關鍵免不了漢語補充的，真的很沒意思。我並不是說英語授課不好，我也希望老師說話能跟外國人一樣標准熟練，還人人都能聽懂，還能達到考試要求，但，還是那句話，得考慮到現實啊！
因此我強烈反對英語課全英文。而如果部分用英文那一定變成了哄小孩那一部分，這是隔靴搔癢啊。其實我覺得只要老師水平高，用漢語講課一樣能達到目的。我記得初中我們老師都是用漢語教的，我們成績也都挺好的。
