建議你讀待遇好的專業吧，並且至少得有省部級重點學科的，優先考慮211/985，很多比較好的用人單位接簡歷只要211/985，普通大學的簡歷他們放一邊，一離開招聘會就把普通學校畢業生簡歷丟垃圾桶了，只是招聘會上又不能明確說明不招收非211/985

能夠招收翻譯碩士（MTI ）的院校多達161所，只有第一批、第二批、985/211大學、知名外國語大學（廣外、西安外國語學院、四川外國語學院、大連外國語學院、天津外國語學院）這幾種值得一讀，其他筆譯碩士讀與不讀區別不大（個人覺得還不如考個CATT 2 筆譯證書來實惠），除非你指望一個碩士學歷就一定能給你帶來好的工作，然而這是不大現實的；

並且絕大多數學校的MTI沒有公費/免費，學校越好學費越貴，正常學費是每年8000或者12000，讀研也要考慮成本和回報。絕大多數MTI畢業生如果去從事筆譯，月收入一般在4000 ---6000之間，如果在一二線城市，這樣的待遇是非常慘的。我是做英語筆譯的中高級譯員，目前月入12000左右（江西吉安縣），我是2005年師范（安徽師范大學）計算機教育的本科畢業生，個人覺得你還是慎重考慮讀MTI的事情，畢竟MTI 畢業生待遇比較差，就業比較難，難找到好工作的，除非你是北外、上外、對外經貿大學、北大等MTI名校並且能力比較強！

還有一點，隨著人工智慧、量子計算機技術的發展和成熟，未來30年翻譯行業可能消失，屆時可能基本上不需要人工翻譯了，這一點也需要考慮
