Learning English just like learning any other language, is hard work so my first advice is to spend much time practicing using English every day. Besides, we should listen to the teacher and take notes carefully in class. Go over what is learnt regularly and finish doing our homework carefully. Listen to English radio programmes, read English stories and newspapers, watch English films and TV programmes ,keep a diary in English and attend English debbates and speech contests. If we make mistakes, correct them at once and try not to make the same mistakes. What's more, we should look up new words in the dictionary before class and prepare each lesson carefully before class. 我认为要想让学生的英语写作能力有所提高,一方面教师要充分利用教材中的写作技能练习，另一方面，教师还要有计划的指导学生进行写作，使学生逐步掌握写作技巧：（一）循序渐进，着眼于基础 “冰冻三尺，非一日之寒”。英语写作能力并非是一蹴而就的。它必须由浅入深、由简到繁、循序渐进地进行训练。教师应注重抓基本功训练，严格要求学生正确、端正、熟练地书写单词和句子，注意大小写和标点符号。进行组词造句、组句成段练习时，要求学生写出最简单的短句，为以后英语作文打好扎实的基础。新教材的写作话题新颖，有许多新的常用词汇、短语和重要句型。教师可以根据本单元的写作话题，每天精心选择2-3个词组或句型，让学生做翻译或造句练习；一周之后，让学生运用这些词组和句型进行写作。种做法既可以培养学生的写作能力，又可以提高写作的效率，还可以帮助学生掌握一些习惯用语和句子结构，从而提高学生遣词造句的能力。进行基本功训练时要充分发挥小组合作的团体作用.（二）范例引路，限时训练 模仿优秀的英文范例，在学习英语写作的初级阶段，对于迅速提高学生的英文写作水平帮助极大。首先，阅读范文可以使学生增强感性认识，熟悉作文所必需的开头、衔接、结尾等基本技巧。再则，学生在练习写作的过程中，参照一些同类体裁的范文，对于谋篇、行文有很好的借鉴作用。 另外，中考英语写作的要求是将所规定的材料内容经整理后，展开思维，目的在于考查学生运用所学英语知识准确地表达意思的能力。因此，训练时当场发题，限时交卷，促使学生快速理解信息，迅速表达信息，提高实际应用和应试能力。这一步是关键，也是学生的难关。我平时指导要求学生在写作过程中牢牢记住以下口诀：“先读提示，弄清要点与格式；时态语态要当心，前后呼应要一致；句子结构和搭配，语言习惯莫违背；文章写好细检查，点滴小错别忽视。”学生明确目的并掌握要领后，要严格在规定时间内完成作文。训练的初级阶段，每次时间可放宽一点。随着学生写作能力增强，时间相应缩短，做到在规定的时间内完成任务，决不能养成拖拉的坏习惯。（三）自改互改，及时讲评 写作讲评是非常关键的，因为在每一次认真高效的讲评之后，学生的写作技能都会有所提高。因此，在每次布置写作之后，教师一定及时批改，及时发现带有共同性、倾向性的错误，并分析其性质和原因，然后及时在课堂上反馈。 学生自主参与批改作文有助于他们提高书面表达中的语言准确性。这种学习方法使学生拥有更多的参与机会，可以互相帮助，通过自己的思考解决问题。学生通过写与改，不仅学会了使用语言进行交流，而且掌握了基本的语言知识，使语言功能和语言形式有机地结合起来，从而提高了学生的整体语言水平。
