下面容是我英语作文没有下过20分的原因，仅供参考，我说的都是从实际出发，并没有引用别人的，都是我在一次次和老师聊天中，老师所说的，毕竟他参加过好几次高考的英语改卷，因此还是比较有效的
首先我们要知道一件事：高考改卷的时间非常有限，几乎要不了一分钟你的作文成绩就下来了，因此第一感觉非常重要。
其实想写好高考英语作文很简单，1是字体好看不要犯简单的错误，2尽量使用有些难度的复合句，特别是第一句话很重要，建议用定语、状语重句或者强调句开场。
这样会给人一种高水平的感觉，只要第一感觉有了，分数也自然上去了，在考试中写错了不要紧，只能用笔在上面清清的划道斜线 但是要注意不要影响到卷面的清洁度 我建议你先打个草稿，用自己能看动的字体飞速的写好 然后重新修改一下 最后再抄到卷面上 虽然有点费时 但是你的英语字体工整卷面干净 可以至少多拿3分 这是我多年的经验 按照这中方法 你必须练英语字体 尽量优美点 开头再配上一个复杂点的句子 只要后面再出现3个复合句并且没有错句和表达意思上的错误出现 整体绝对在20分以上 我可以保证

1.比喻句或排比句不一定适用于高考的作文中，应该按照具体内容而定.
2.not only..but（also）..不仅仅...更是...
如果将这个句型用于倒装，那文章的风采将会更加凸显.
3.作文要拿高分首先要避免出现语法错误，哪怕你的句子多么简单，只要不出错就可以拿到合格分了.其次，作文高分的亮点在于所用动词的准确度和句型的变换.
比如：
好的，优秀的 excellent就比great要好得多
再比如：
from the text，I can know that..就比不上from the text, I can draw a conclusion that..

此外，作文尽可能用简洁的语言描述，多用非谓语的用法代替状语或定语从句等.
同时，要避免词语的重复使用，名词可以换成代词，动词用相近词义的词代替.
最后，字体娟秀端正也很重要，同一篇文章，好看的字体可以比难看的字体高出1-2分！！

我先讲讲人家怎么评分吧：
评分时，先根据文章的内容和语言初步确定其所属档次，然后以该档次 的要求来衡量，确定或调整档次，最后给分。
词数少于 80和多于 120的，从总分中减去2分。
1.评分时，应注意的主要内容为：内容要点、应用词汇和语法结构的数量和准确性、上下文的连贯性及语言的得体性。
2.拼写与标点符号是语言准确性的一个方面，评分时，应视其对交际的影 响程度予以考虑。英、美拼写汉词汇用法均可接受。
3.如书写较差，以至影响交际，将分数降低一个档次。
4.内容要点可用不同方式表达，对紧扣主题的适当发挥不予扣分。
再说说高分的评价标准：
1. 完全完成了试题规定的任务。
2. 覆盖所有内容要点。
3. 应用了较多的语法结构和词汇。
4. 语法结构或词汇方面有些许错误，但为尽力使用较复杂结构或较高级词汇所致；具备较强的语言运用能力。
5. 有效地使用了语句间的连接成分，使全文结构紧凑。
6. 完全达到了预期的写作目的。

就我个人看，背诵好的作文还是必要的，把别人的变成自己的！基础要结实啊，不要有语法、拼写的小错误。最后美丽的书写无形中也是你的财富！

ps.完形有时候需要比较好的语法和词汇搭配，阅读也是这样，一般带有复杂成分的句子如果你都能读懂就不会有太大问题，平时多读（比如课文、小说、诗歌、报纸……），慢慢就有语感了，你看哪个答案顺眼基本上就不会错了~

所以这还是一个比较痛苦漫长的过程，刚开始没有成效也要继续坚持，哪怕是撑到高考的前一天也好，你会积累很多别人没有的知识，而且对以后的英语学习也很有好处~
