一、制定科学评价,多表扬,少批评为了提高教学质量,达到堂堂清、日日清,促进学生全面发展的目的,英语教师应该制定评价。将评价与课堂教学有机的结合起来。“靠近清泉,心灵就湿润,靠近评价,生命就会舞蹈”。当学生上课疲惫了的时候,老师不是拖着他走,而是及时给予他肯定的评价,唤醒他内在的精神动力。因此,笔者深感调动学生学习积极性的重要。在教学中开始实践:学期初,笔者用彩纸做了一张标题为“英语学习我最棒”的表格,贴在了教室墙上,有:课堂发言、小组合作、作业完成、平时测试、早读表现及我的进步六项内容。每节课下课后,笔者都会根据小组长汇报和自己的观察,在表格里某个学生的名字后打上钩。尤其是关注后进生,只要后进生上课发言了,就会给他打钩。笔者还先和学生们约法三章:坚持上好一节课打一个钩,20个钩评一张小贴画;五张小贴画奖一个笔记本。学生积极参与,上课时表现越来越好。这样实行一段时间后,效果出来了,孩子们主动学习英语的积极性提高了,学习进步非常大,较长的句子也能流利地朗读了。二、优化教学过程,提高教学有效性一堂课是否成功不是看教师是否完成教学任务,而是看学生是否进步,是否从中得到收获。因此笔者认为课堂上,提高小学英语教学有效性,需优化教学活动。优化教学过程须做到以下几点:1.导入新奇,引人入胜。霍姆林斯基说:“每一个孩子的心灵里,存放着求知好学、渴望知识的“火药”,就看你能不能点燃这火药。”这就需要一根导火线,课堂的导入就犹如导火线一样,因此,新奇多趣,引人入胜的课堂导入对一节课起着至关重要的作用。小学教学导入方式有多种。比如:歌曲导入、实物导入、图片导入、情境导入等,形式丰富多样。教师运用得当,学生就会跟着老师的指挥棒,采取学习行动,主动学习。如:笔者在教授外研社版小学四年级(第四册)Mole4Unit2《WillitbewindyinBeijing?》一课时,笔者采用了情境导入法,问:?于是有七八个同学举手,其中一名调皮同学回答:“我的爸爸明天去北京。”笔者听了就接着问,你们昨天晚上看天气预报了吗?北京天气怎么样呢?知道天气用英语怎么说吗?孩子们思考片刻,踊跃发言,于是笔者趁机传授weather这个单词。这样的导入设计,巧妙地激起了学生的求知欲。2.以任务型教学为途径。在教学中,小学英语教师一定要始终以“任务活动”为主线,结合学生实际认知水平,采用多样化的教学手段和方式,调动学生参与活动的积极性,让学生通过体验,手脑并用,提高语言综合运用能力,从而达到优化课堂教学的目的。如:笔者在上三年级(第二册)Mole4Unit1《Doyoulikemeat?》一课时,设计了到餐馆点菜的活动。学生到餐馆里点菜,扮演服务员的学生用:Doyoulikemeat?或Doyoulikefish?等句子进行询问,其他学生用Yes,Ido.\No,Idon’t.回答。这个活动,为学生提供了实践的空间,学生在运用所学语言进行交流时,发挥了其创造性,提高了其综合运用语言的能力。3.创造民主和谐的教学氛围。在课堂教学中,要给每一个学生创造民主和谐的教学氛围,打破一言堂的传统教育模式,充分发扬民主,把课堂自主权交还给学生,鼓励学生主动回答问题,主动提问题,让他们拥有主动权,提高学生们的学习兴趣。在这样的课堂环境中,学生思维才能活跃起来,学生才能主动学习,主动参与教学活动,达到以教师主导和学生为主体的双和谐效果。4.用多媒体,集中学生注意力。小学生模仿和学习能力较强,教师可以借助多媒体创设各种情境,打破时空限制,使教学内容形象、具体、生动,让学生在轻松愉快的气氛中,体会到学习的乐趣。在使用多媒体课件时,努力做到声象结合,图文并茂,给学生以适当的感官刺激。如:笔者在教授“rain”这个单词时,在网上下载各种播放雨声的文件,通过课件播放出来,让学生感受下雨的情景,然后让学生跟着多媒体里的机器人一起播报天气:ItwillraininHangzhou.学生在参与活动中,自觉主动实践,从而调动了学习的积极性。三、丰富课堂活动,活跃气氛丰富的课堂活动,避免学生上课走神,活跃课堂气氛,调动学生学习的积极性。因此,老师应该精心设计课堂活动,吸引学生注意力,提高教学质量。具体做到以下两点:1.巧用游戏,课堂活跃。对于小学生来说,乐趣就是一切动力的源泉。游戏活动为学生提供获得乐趣的机会,让全体学生参与活动,调动不同层次学生的学习积极性和主动性,使学生乐学、爱学,使得课堂充满无限的生机和活力,从而提高了小学英语课堂效率。游戏活动项目可以有多种:朗读比赛、默写比赛、讲故事比赛、演讲比赛等。例如,在一次教学中,笔者采用“爬椰子树摘椰子进行朗读接力”比赛方式进行,将课文中的几个句子设计成几个椰子,让学生分为两队进行比赛,看哪个小组摘得椰子最多。在这样的课堂氛围中,学生你争我赶,唯恐落后,教学效果会更好。2.巧编歌谣,事半功倍。在课堂教学中,创造性的使用教材,找准教材内容与活动形式的结合点,合理编排歌谣,找到教学内容与歌谣的契合点,用一至二首歌谣贯穿课堂教学,不仅使课堂教学衔接自然,思路清晰,适时地活跃课堂气氛,还对优化英语课堂教学的目的,起到事半功倍的效果
