（二）捉鬼

清朝乾隆年间，曹雪芹住在香山脚下一个风景秀丽的小村里。

然而近一年来，这里却一派荒芜萧索的景象。因为传说这儿闹鬼。每日清晨，那鬼驾着一朵云飞向山顶；日落黄昏，又带着一道亮火落到屋前。

人们谈鬼色变，鸡犬不宁。这件事情传到曹雪芹的耳朵里。他不露声色，独自一人，于清晨黄昏，悄悄站在附近的一块高地上了望。果然看见了那道似灰似蓝的亮火，他一连看了三四日，额上的皱纹终于 开来，笑道：“我明白了！”
