难忘的2001年7月13日，第113次国际奥委会全会把2008年奥运会的举办权授于北京，把传递奥运会火炬的终点，点燃奥运圣火的地点选在北京，这是新世纪给北京的一次新机遇，这是全世界人民对中国改革开放巨大成就的充分肯定，也是国际奥运史上一项划时代的决定。
众所周知，旧中国民不聊生，饿孚载道，“东亚病夫”的奇耻大辱，从一个侧面反映了旧中国人民体质衰弱，寥寥落后，受尽帝国主义列强的百般凌辱！新中国如红日东升，光芒万丈，照亮世界东方，中国人民如巨龙腾空飞舞，改革开放后的中国大地万象更新，万紫千红，万马奔腾！中国的国际地位与日俱增，尤其是新中国的体育事业蒸蒸日上，强大的中国奥运军团一次次扬威国际体坛，雄壮的国歌一次又一次在各个世界级赛场上空响起，鲜艳的五星红旗高高飘扬在国际竞赛场馆！随着二OO八年的临近，北京奥运会的开幕日进入倒计时，整个中华民族从来没有像今天这样意气风发，斗志昂扬。围绕一个崇高目标，全国各族人民，各行各业的华夏子孙都在奋发图强，做好本职工作，全力以赴支持北京办好奥运！举国上下，万众一心；建设和谐社会，大力发展经济，增强综合国力，让北京举办一次奥运史上最精彩动人的奥运会，这是中国体育运动员的共同期盼，也是全中国人民的共同期盼。
注重我们的礼仪
什么是礼仪呢？简单地说，礼仪就是律己、敬人的一种行为规范，是表现对他人尊重和理解的过程和手段。文明礼仪，不仅是个人素质、教养的体现，也是个人道德和社会公德的体现。更是城市的脸面，更是国家的脸面。所以我们作为具有5000年文明史的“礼仪之邦”，讲文明、用礼仪，也是弘扬民族文化、展示民族精神的重要途径。
在一个国家中个人是主体。对于个人来说什么最重要呢？我想首先应该是具备文明素质，只有当每一个人都具备了文明素质，那么这个国家的整体素质才能提高。
在我们身边，在一部分同学身上，还存在着一些不文明的行为。例如，在我们的校园内、楼梯上总能见到与我们美丽的校园极不和谐的纸屑，教室里、校园内食品袋、方便面盒随处可见，甚至有的同学认为：反正有值日的同学和清洁工打扫，扔了又何妨；再例如有的同学在教学楼走廊上追逐打闹，走路推推搡搡习以为常；还有部分同学相互之间讲脏话、粗话，随意攀爬树枝，甚至还有个别同学故意损坏学校的公共财物。我们很多同学把文化知识的学习放在首位，而常常忽略了社会公德的培养，文明习惯的养成，而这恰恰从本质上展现出一个人的思想品质。事实上，良好的行为习惯，是保证我们顺利学习的前提，也是树立健康人格的基础。在学校没有良好的行为习惯的同学就可能目无纪律，不讲卫生，扰乱班级的学习环境。相反，如果我们养成了文明的行为习惯，学习环境就一定是良好的、有序的。我们知道：一个学校的学生具有良好的文明行为习惯，才能构建出优良的学习环境，创设出优良的学习气氛。现在，我们正处于人生中最关键的成长时期，我们在这个时期的所作所为，将潜移默化的影响到我们自身的心理素质，而文明的行为就在帮助我们提高自身的心理素质，同时也完善了自身的道德品质，如果我们不在此时抓好自身道德素质的培养，那我们即使拥有了丰富的科学文化知识，于人于己于社会又有何用呢？所以，我们首先应该做一个堂堂正正的人，一个懂文明、有礼貌的谦谦君子，然后才是成才，不能做一部单纯掌握知识技能的机器，而要成为一个身心和谐发展的人。文明就是我们素质的前沿，拥有文明，那我们就拥有了世界上最为宝贵的精神财富。]
要养成良好的文明习惯，做文明的小学生。那么请我们每一个人管住我们的口，不说粗话、不随地吐痰；管住我们的手，不乱扔垃圾、不打架斗殴；管住我们的脚，不践踏草坪。我相信，经过我们全体师生共同努力，一定会营造出一个文明美好的校园。试想假如全国每一个校园都共同创建文明校园，那么我们民族的整体素质将大大提高，国家的综合实力将会大大加强，祖国的未来一定是繁荣昌盛、灿烂辉煌！
百年奥运,风云变幻,不变的是始终如一的人文精神.在奥林匹克精神中,人为内涵是不朽的底蕴,它作为一种特殊的精神动力,凝聚着向往前进的心声。
“一个国家,一座城市能够举办一次奥运会便使得这个国家,这座城市和这里的人民变得更加美好,那一刻你就会明白,体育不仅仅是体育,它以自身特殊的魅力影响这一切”,这句话真没错,我们中国赢得了08年奥运会主办权便使我们的生活有了很大改善.回首2004年8月的奥运会,我们一次次激动,一次次兴奋,我们为中国奥运健儿夺金摘银而呐喊助威,为五星红旗一次次升起而欢呼流泪.奥运带给中国人更多的希望,而我们内心深处期盼的却是当耀眼的奥运盛火熄灭时,世人报向北京的目光北京奥运又会对全人类作出什么样的承诺?
