本节课气氛活跃,师生互动很好,学生很喜欢学习英语,课堂参与度很高。各教学环节衔接自然流畅，围绕主线展开教学，另外，板书设计较好，简洁明了，突出重点。而且利用小短文导入新授内容，提高了学生的阅读量，加深了学生对所学知识的运用。
本班由于三年级就接触了跨越式英语教学模式，学生特别喜欢以言语交际为中心的自由对话模式，提高了学生的口语表达能力和对语言的运用能力，从而树立了对学习英语的自信心。但美中不足的是学生对拓展听读部分好像积极性不是很高，每次都完成的不是很理想，主要原因还是教师对学情分析不到位，拓展内容过多过难，除此之外没有很好地把握师生交际、生生交际和拓展阅读三大教学活动的时间分配。另外把weather 放到后面教，学生运用这个词的频率较少,掌握不牢固,以致于把时间浪费在这个词和What’s the weather like in„?这个句型的操练上了,如果把weather 放在第一个教的话情况就截然不同了.再者就是教学单词时用同一种方法太枯燥,而且时间太长,容易使学生感到疲劳。
因此，在今后的教学过程中，应该不断学习跨越式教学理论，并在教学实践中不断总结与反思，灵活运用教学方法，提高课堂掌控能力，合理安排课堂教学时间，争取做到高效课堂
