《大学英语四级考试听力》是2007年外语教学与研究出版社出版的图书，作者是汪士彬。本书主要介绍了英语四级考试听力的基本知识和规律技巧。

为了适应我国的高等教育新的发展形势，深化教学改革，提高教学质量，满足新时期国家对人才培养的需要计划，2004年6月教育部颁发了《大学英语课程教学要求（试行）》。新的教学要求重新规定了大学英语的教学目标：培养学生的英语综合应用能力，特别是听说能力，使他们能在今后的工作和社会交往中用英语有效地进行口头和书面的信息交流。

为体现新的教学要求的精神，并达到这一教学要求，全国大学英语四、六级考试委员会颁发了《全国大学英语四、六级考试改革方案（试行）》及《大学英语四级考试大纲》（2006修订版），对大学英语四级考试进行配套改革，从考试内容到题型设计进行了重大调整。从2007年1月开始，全面实施改革后的新大学英语四级考试。

英语四级考试目的是推动大学英语教学大纲的贯彻执行，对大学生的英语能力进行客观、准确的测量，为提高我国大学英语课程的教学质量服务。国家教育部委托“全国大学英语四、六级考试委员会”（1993年前名为“大学英语四、六级标准化考试设计组”）负责设计、组织、管理与实施大学英语四、六级考试。

大学英语考试根据理工科本科和文理科本科用的两个《大学英语教学大纲》，由教育部（原国家教育委员会）高等教育司组织的全国统一的单科性标准化教学考试，分大学英语四级考试（CET-4）和大学英语六级考试（CET-6）两种。

每年考试过后8月份或9月份公布成绩并颁发成绩单，根据教育部规定四六级考试不设置及格线，四级425分(含425分)以上可以报考六级，所以大家普遍认为四六级的合格线为425分。英语四六级的分数是排位分，没有总分。报名时间CET全国英语四六级考试的考试时间为：每年6月份、12月份（每年时间略有不同）。

2019年1月15日，中国教育部考试中心与英国文化教育协会在京联合发布雅思、普思考试与中国英语能力等级量表对接研究结果。雅思听力得5分，即达到中国英语能力等级量表四级水平。

英语四级总分710分，其中听力部分占35%，满分为249分。

其它还有阅读部分占35%，满分为249分；综合部分占10%，满分为70分；作文部分占15%，满分为106分；翻译部分占5%，满分为36分。

一、新大学英语四级考试试卷结构

就所测试的语言能力而言，试点阶段的四级考试由以下四个部分构成：听力理解；阅读理解；完型填空或改错；写作和翻译。

听力理解部分分值比例为35%；其中听力对话15%，听力短文20%。听力对话部分包括短对话和长对话的听力理解；听力短文部分包括选择题型的短文理解和复合式听写。

阅读理解部分分值比例为35%；其中仔细阅读部分（Reading in Depth）25%，快速阅读部分（Skimming and Scanning）10%。

仔细阅读部分分为：选择题型的篇章阅读理解；篇章层次的词汇理解（Banked Cloze）或短句问答（Short Answer Questions）。快速阅读理解部分测试的是浏览阅读和查读能力。

完型填空部分分值比例为10%。完型填空部分采用单项选择题型，改错部分的要求是辨认错误并改正。

二、新题型说明

1、单词及词组听写

原复合式听写调整为单词及词组听写，短文长度及难度不变。要求考生在听懂短文的基础上，用所听到的原文填写空缺的单词或词组，共10题。短文播放三遍。

2、长篇阅读

原快速阅读理解调整为长篇阅读理解，篇章长度和难度不变。篇章后附有10个句子，每句一题。每句所含的信息出自篇章的某一段落，要求考生找出与每句所含信息相匹配的段落。有的段落可能对应两题，有的段落可能不对应任何一题。

3、翻译

原单句汉译英调整为段落汉译英。翻译内容涉及中国的历史、文化、经济、社会发展等。四级长度为140-160个汉字；六级长度为180-200个汉字。
