英语四级听力三套试卷内容是不一样的，但是听力题型设置是一样的。

英语四级听力理解共35个，包括短对话、长对话、短文听力及短文听写。听力对话及短文听力共25题，每1题算1个，共25个;短文听写共11题，其中单词听写8题，每2题算1个，句子听写共2题，每1题算2个，共10个。

为了适应新的形势下社会对大学生英语听力能力需求的变化，进一步提高听力测试的效度，全国大学英语四、六级考试委员会自2016年6月考试起将对四、六级考试的听力试题作局部调整占35%。阅读理解部分比例调整为35%，其中词汇理解（选词填空）占5%，仔细阅读部分占20%，长篇阅读占10%。

四级听力考试要求：能听懂英语讲课，并能听懂题材熟悉、句子结构比较简单、基本上没有生词、语速为每分钟130-150词的简短会话、谈话、报道或讲座，掌握其中心大意，抓住要点和有关细节，领会讲话者的观点和态度。
