1. 四级为什么要先写作文
建议考生把英语四级考试的作文答题时间分成三部分。
1.准备时间（5分钟）
如果没有充分的准备，看完作文题目就直接动手写，会让考生写到最后无话可说。俗话说得好：磨刀不误砍柴工。所以，何不分出一点时间让自己好好的思考改怎么写呢？

当然是先写作文！其他的卷子是不可看的！作文规定时间是30分钟，期间试卷本必须合上，而作文题目是在试卷本的封面上，只有作文时间结束，老师收掉作文之后，允许你们打开试卷册，你们才可以阅读听力题，而此时听力放音也是同步开始了！所以，不要指望跟高考一样，还能先读题，一般借助听力放音时的题目介绍，先快速浏览前四个小题，后来的题，你都要依靠填写答案时候的8秒间隔，不但要完成上一题，而且要阅读下一题，就是这么变态~而且，严重提醒一下，四六级改革后，听力必须一边做一边填答题卡，因为听力放音一结束就会立刻回收答题卡，所以也不要指望先做题，最后涂的老方法，新英语四六级就是这么变态~我也在备考，后天就考试了，一起加油！有什么问题可以继续问我，我备考六级。
5. 四级考试考试时长
大学英语四级考试时间共计2小时5分钟，其中写作30分钟、听力25分钟、阅读理解40分钟、翻译30分钟，共计2小时5分钟。
先写作文然后是听力理解、阅读理解最后是翻译，是国家统一规定的考试流程。
9:10 考试正式开始；
9:10—9:40 完成作文部分；
9:40—9:55 完成快速阅读理解部分；
10:00—10:35 完成听力考试部分；

CET口试每年开考两次，为每年5月份和11月份，每次考试两个考试日，第一考试日科目为CET-SET4，第二考试日科目为CET-SET6。

6. 英语四级考试写完作文有时间多能不能先写阅读
英语四级考试作文时间如何分配呢？很多考生拿到作文题目之后直接就动笔开写，这是一个误区。
其实30分钟的写作时间绝对绰绰有余，如果直接开写，很容易会造成跑题，或写到一半发现无话可说的现象，导致考生开始绞尽脑汁的编句子，凑字数。 建议考生把英语四级考试的作文答题时间分成三部分。
1.准备时间（5分钟） 如果没有充分的准备，看完作文题目就直接动手写，会让考生写到最后无话可说。俗话说得好：磨刀不误砍柴工。
所以，何不分出一点时间让自己好好的思考改怎么写呢？ 在这充足的5分钟内，先审题，看清题目要求，免得写偏题了。然后进行一个提纲和内容的构思，想清楚自己文章的大致结构，是否需要举例说明等等。
2.撰写时间（20分钟） 在正式写作的时候，也要注意以下几点： （1）如无把握，宁愿写简单句也不写长难句。 （2）卷面整洁。
清晰明了的段落和结构、工整的字迹会给阅卷老师留下深刻的正面印象；如果一不小心写错单词，千万不要涂黑，一笔划掉就好。 3.检查时间（5分钟） 由于考试时间和条件等诸多因素的限制，考生写作的时候会出现很多问题，于是这就需要在写完后进行一个检查了。
主要检查以下三个点： （1）拼写是否正确。看文章中是否有拼错的单词、多余的符号和写掉的介词等等。
（2）用词和搭配是否正确。 （3）语法是否正确。
主要是人称、时态、语态是否正确，有没有出现本应用过去时态却用的是现在时，动词的三人称单复数是否用正确了。
