英语四级作文常见类型
从作文类型来看，对比选择类、现象解释类、问题解决类以及应用文类是考查的重点。
从题材来看，一般考查两类话题，一类是校园生活话题，包括学习、日常生活、工作及健康交际等;另一类是社会热点话题，考生对这类话题比较熟悉。两类相结合的趋势越来越大。
从体裁来看，一般包括议论文、说明文、图表作文和应用文写作(包括书信、便条、通知、海报等)。从近五年真题的趋势来看，议论文仍然是四级作文的考查重点。
从命题形式看，主要有提纲作文、乎斗和情景作文、提示作文、图表作文、关键词作文等销桐。其中最容易作为考题的是提纲作文、情景作文及图表作文。
四级作文主要写法
一、描述法
通过描述漫画、图表，来引出要讨论的问题

二、引用法

2. "Ecation is not complete with graation." This is the opinion of a great American philosopher. Now more and more people share his opinion.

三、比较法
通过对过去、现在两种不同的倾向、观点的比较，引出文章要讨论的观点。
1. For years, ...had been viewed as .... But people are taking a fresh look now. With the growing ..., people ....
2.People used to think that ... (In the past, ....) But people now share this new idea.
四、观点法
开门见山，直接了当地提出自己对要讨论的问题的看法。

五、对立法
先引出其他人的不同看法，岁盯然后提出自己的看法或者偏向于某一看法，适用于有争议性的主题。
1.When asked about..., the vast/overwhelming majority of people say that …. But I think/view a bit differently.
2. When it comes to ...., some people believe that…. Others argue/claim that the opposite/reverse is true. There is probably some truth in both arguments/statements, but I tend to the former/latter.
