乌龟，是龟鳖目地龟科拟水龟属爬行动物。又称草龟、泥龟、金龟、香龟等。乌龟头部、颈部的侧面有黄色的线状斑纹；上缘不呈钩状，具有坚强的甲壳，甲壳椭圆形，略扁平；背面为褐色或黑色，腹面略带黄色，均有暗褐色斑纹；四肢粗壮，略扁。
