ACE球-----ACE球就是指对局双方中一方发球，球落在有效区内，但另一方却没有触及到球而使之直接得分的发球，又可分为内角ACE球，和外角ACE球。

出界（OUT）----球没有打在场地的有效部位。单打时的有效部位是靠内的两条竖线之间的空间，而双打时则是靠外的两条竖线之间的区域。

擦网（NET）-----在发球时擦网被判为犯规需要重发，而在正常的比赛过程中则会被视为运气球，因为通常球在擦网后会改变飞行方向，令对手防不胜防。

穿越球----指一方上网截击，当对方打出一个速度很快的回球并落在界内得分，而上网的一方没能触到球。看高手对局，穿越球是最漂亮的，因为一般来说上网的一方是占据有利的，而打出穿越球则颇有点反败为胜的味道。

挑高球-----指一方上网截击，占据有利位置，另一方打出弧度很高的球，跳过上网方的头顶，并落在界内得分。
