啊——」
一聲撕心裂肺的尖叫聲在小區上方回盪著，「咣當」一聲後，恢復了平靜。
兩個鍾頭前，我抱著老貓咪吉在無聊地看電視，家裡只剩下我了。爺爺奶奶去了汕頭，大廚不在，只好讓老爸老媽兩個小廚來做飯，我是十分盼望著爺爺回來改善生活的。
我本來是在和老媽下棋的，突然有個電話說有個重病人需要搶救，於是爸爸拎著車鑰匙和媽媽下了樓，只留下了一句話：「我們不回來了，午餐自己解決吧！」
我驚訝地望著他們遠去的背影，很快反應過來：爸爸媽媽是要鍛煉我獨自生活的能力。很快，我把這個忘得一干二凈，看起了電視。
不久，我肚子里的神仙又要煉丹了，發出了抗議聲。咪吉也跑到它的貓碗旁邊，可憐巴巴地望著我。它只要餓了，就會用這種眼神看著身邊的人。
我找到一大包貓糧，聞著挺香，可是再餓也不能吃貓糧啊，只好扔給咪吉倒到它的碗里。這時，廚房裡出現了一碗昨晚的剩飯。炒雞蛋一直是我的強項，可蛋炒飯就不一定了。
我害怕地看著那桶油，生怕它會吃了我似的。我打開煤氣灶，先熱一下鍋，然後下油。先炒個白菜再炒飯吧，我想。我抓起一棵不大的白菜顫抖地剝開葉子，在心裡默念道：「白菜將軍，你一定要挺住啊！」然後，那可憐的白菜便跳下了油鍋。
「啪！」飛濺的油滴憤怒地沖向我，毫無防備的我被打個措手不及。油滴降落在我手背上，劇烈的疼痛中我條件反射地尖叫了一聲，手中的鍋蓋砸到了地上。我捂著手一臉痛苦地跳到陽台邊。我折下一段蘆薈，在手上抹著。
再回到廚房時，地上全是油點，鍋里只有幾塊外形像白菜葉子的東西。我把它們翻過來，是和鍋底一樣的顏色。英勇的白菜將軍退役了，到垃圾桶里享清福去了。
炒菜失敗，我只好老老實實地炒我的蛋炒飯。把鍋里的油渣倒掉，重新下油。縷縷的油煙從鍋里升起，我把雞蛋敲下去，像平時一樣翻炒起來，然後把那碗冷得發硬的飯倒下去。那團飯硬得像塊石頭，飯粒們都緊緊地抱在一起，同仇敵愾地望著油光閃閃的鍋鏟。我笑了笑，揮起鍋鏟，無情地向飯團劈去——終於，飯粒們力不從心，敗在了鍋鏟下。
我繼續揮著鍋鏟，把飯翻來翻去。漸漸地，米飯呈現出了燦爛的金黃色，我趕緊倒下醬油。
幾秒鍾後，香噴噴的蛋炒飯出鍋了。「正宗蛋炒飯，不加味精不加鹽嘞……」我吆喝著，拿出了筷子。在午後的靜謐中，我聽到了門外的鑰匙聲。「咔」，門開了，老媽回來了。我興奮地端著我的蛋炒飯去迎接老媽。「媽，嘗嘗我的秘制蛋炒飯！」我自豪地端著炒飯，高興地說。老媽看著這碗炒飯，說：「我還以為你下去買腸粉了呢！」說完，媽媽便嘗了嘗我的蛋炒飯。「怎麼樣？」媽媽沒說話，只是豎起了大拇指。
看著媽媽欣喜的表情，我高興地笑了，不僅僅是因為我的蛋炒飯技術被媽媽肯定，更是因為我獨立生活的能力又上了一個台階，我為自己自豪。
