1.嚴謹的布局：
正所謂萬事開頭難，不過只要開了個好頭，這篇作文就會很好寫了。
鳳頭：是文章的首段，是閱卷老師首先入眼的地方，一定要做好整篇文章的中心把握，要做到下文與首段上下連貫，緊密結合，要通過開頭使下文有可寫之處，開頭要達到讓閱卷老師耳目一新的效果。例如，巧用排比，比喻，擬人等修辭手法，並且通過這些修辭手法，而統領全文主旨。
豬肚：在一篇上好的文章中，分段都會恰到好處，而當文章中只有一大段或兩三段時，這篇文章即使文采再出眾，也不會有太高的分數，因為閱卷老師在中考判卷時，每三分鍾就要判出一份作文，工作量相當大，如果不善於分段，閱卷老師可能失去耐心，從而看不完，就會草草的給出分數。所以，在我看來，一篇文章至少要分 6-8個段，但不是一行或幾行一段，而是要看起來像豆腐塊，一塊塊整齊的排列在一起，使文章緊中有松，鬆弛有度。要看上去整篇文章是一個整體，而不是零散的。2014中考作文寫作技巧及方法
豹尾：在文章的最後處，應當讓主題更突出鮮明，升華主題思想，使豹尾抽起來!或讓人感到峰迴路轉，柳暗花明或更進一步的特殊效果。在文章末尾，應當再次點題，緊扣中心思想，讓貫穿始終的中心思想繼續延伸，引人深思。特別是要在結尾處，與開頭形成呼應，對比，遞進等等，來引發閱讀老師的共鳴!
2.細膩的文筆：不管是記敘，議論還是散文;不管是寫人寫事還是寫景。都要用細膩的文筆呈現出來，使文章中點更突出，讓閱卷老師在看試卷的過程中，有深思，放慢閱讀速度和重復閱讀的情況出現，讓閱卷老師身臨其境，從而使文章更具靈性。
3.貫穿始終的思想感情：在一篇布局格式上很得當，錯落有致的文章上，還必須要有一條貫穿始終的思想路線，這條線就像魚的脊椎一樣重要，這條線一定要清晰，明確，千萬不可含混不清。
把握好這幾點，一篇好的中考作文已經大致成型，不過要想在中考中脫穎而出，這僅僅是開始。
