我覺得那些英文字有問題。 你是想說身體給切開嗎？如果是， 那你可以說這樣子the body was halved or the body was seperated. 但是在英語寫作上， 一般來說（美國大學里）都是用主動式的。 例如， 某某halve the body, or cut the body in half, or seperate the body.

按照你所提的例子cap removed， 這句就有語病了。 應該這樣子說， The cap was removed or 某某removed the cap.

cap broken也不對。如果你想表達的是一個破掉的蓋子， 那就是the broken cap。 如果是想說該子破了， 那就是The cap was broken。 記得英語上都是用主動式嗎？ 那這句的主動式就是某某broke the cap.

B. 英語翻譯：但是他一直都是堅持工作的。

hold on 去掉就可以了
或者改成holding on the work

C. 他有他的缺點，但總的來說，翻譯成英語

總的來說 on the whole, overall
他有他的缺點，但總的來說
可以譯為
He may have a few shortcomings, but on the whole ...
Though he has his shortcomings, on the whole ...
In spite of his shortcomings, on the whole ...
