The comparison between china's culture and western's is faily obvious,
it's plain to see that the diffirence is determined by the diffirent history. We have no necessary to judge the culture is good or bad because culture is a special mental quality that is shaped by certain people in certain area. That is also the thing we must never forget when we reserch culture.
If a culture misunderstant is taken place when we communicate with foreiners.I think we should make the diffirence clear to them and figure out what the original reason of the misunderstanding to keep from it running deep.
To be honest is the thing that concerns much forever when you develop a friendship with others, the same to the foreiners. And you must respect their privacy beacause they always put it in a key position. In addion, remember women first.

51TestBeer
51TestAmerican beer, with very few exceptions, varies from the mediocre to the terrible. There are not many types of beer in the US—"light" and "dark" are two terms commonly used.
51TestIt is therefore normal to order beer simply by brand name. In a restaurant, in fact, it is quite all right to order "a beer", and they will tell youwhat they have.
51TestIt is not necessary, either, to specify quantity when ordering beer. If it comes in bottles or cans, you will get a bottle or can, and if it's "on tap" you will get a glass, unless you order a "pitcher". The latter is very convenient thing to do, since you can then take the jug and glasses to your table and keep filling up without going back to the bar. (It is harder, however, to know how much you have drunk.)
51TestSome beer comes in bottles with tops that look as if they need an opener, but you can, in fact, screw them off by hand—though you have to be very careful not to hurt yourself. It is possible, in some stores and bars,to find a wide selection of beer from all over the world, especially Western Europe and Australia, and it is good fun to experiment with these.
51TestCocktails
51TestCocktails and "mixed drinks" are much more popular and rather stronger in the USA than in Europe, and visitors may not be familiar with some of the terminology. "On the rocks", as you probably know, means with ice, while "straight up" or "up" means neat and without ice.
There are hundreds of different cocktails, and there is no space here to list all the different names.
51TestThe Hard Stuff
51TestIn America "whiskey" means bourbon unless otherwise indicated. Bourbon is a rather oily spiritmade from maizeRye whiskey is called "rye" and Scotch
whiskey "Scotch".
51TestWine
51TestIn bars wine can often be bought by the glass. Don't be misled by names such as "Chablis" is used to refer to white wine, and "Burgundy" to red—Americans seem never to have heard of white Burgundy.

Culture of China
The Culture of China is home to one of the world's oldest and most complex civilizations. China boasts a history rich in over 5,000 years of artistic, philosophical, political, and scientific advancement. Though regional differences provide a sense of diversity, commonalities in language and religion connect a culture distinguished by such significant contributions such as Confucianism and Taoism. Confucianism was the official philosophy throughout most of Imperial China's history and strongly influenced other countries in East Asia. Mastery of Confucian texts provided the primary criterion for entry into the imperial bureaucracy.
With the rise of Western economic and military power beginning in the mid-19th century, Western systems of social and political organization gained adherents in China. Some of these would-be reformers rejected China's cultural legacy, while others sought to combine the strengths of Chinese and Western cultures.
China is a unified nation consisting of many different ethnic groups. Fifty-six different ethnic groups make up the great Chinese national family. Because the Han people accounts for more than ninety percent of China's population, the remaining fifty-five groups are generally referred to as "ethnic minorities." Next to the majority Han, the Mongolian, Hui, Tibetan, and Uygur peoples comprise the largest ethnic groups. Although China's ethnic minorities do not account for a large portion of the population, they are distributed over a vast area, residing in every corner of China.
Particularly since the implementation of China's opening and reform policy, the central government has increased investment in minority areas and accelerated their opening to the outside world. This has resulted in an upsurge of economic development in these areas. Each of China's ethnic minority groups possesses a distinctive culture. The Chinese government respects minority customs, and works to preserve, study, and collate the cultural artifacts of China's ethnic minority groups. The government vigorously supports the development of minority culture and the training of minority cultural workers, and fosters the development of traditional minority medicine.
The relation among China's ethnic groups can be described as "overall integration, local concentration, mutual interaction." Concentrations of ethnic minorities reside within predominantly Han areas, and the Han people also reside in minority areas, indicating that there has been extensive exchanges among China's ethnic groups since ancient times. With the development of the market economy, interaction among ethnic groups has become even more active in the areas of government, economics, culture, daily life, and marriage. Linked by interdependence, mutual assistance, and joint development, their common goals and interests creating a deep sense of solidarity, China's ethnic groups resemble a great national family, together building Chinese civilization.

In summary, as the symbol of human civilization, museums take up very significant positions in our lives. There are still many troubles need to be solved, however, I do believe that, as time passes, people will come to realize the value of museums eventually.
On Shanzhai Culture Good afternoon, Ladies and gentlemen! It's an honor to give you a speech, and the title of my speech is "on Shanzhai culture". The Chinese word "Shanzhai" literally means small mountain village, but it's now used to describe procts that have names similar to famous brands or people who imitate celebrities. Procts of "Shanzhai" usually have no good quality, but they are cheaper in price! In my opinion, "Shanzhai" has become a culture of its own, representing non-mainstream ideas. It's a new way for common people to enjoy a better life with less money. Generally speaking ,only if we make good use of "Shanzhai"culture, can we benefit from it. Good afternoon, Ladies and gentlemen! It's an honor to give you a speech, and the title of my speech is "Tea and the Tea Culture of China". In a country with the history of five thousand years, the Chinese tea drinking habit dated back to the Tang Dynasty (618-907AD). It became a national tradition and led to development of a delicate tea drinking ritual. Over the centuries, poets and artists in China wrote many marvelous masterpieces, in appreciation of tea and Chinese people』s constant love of tea drinking .One of the best-known writers is Lu Yu, who was regarded as the 「Tea Sage 」 for he composed the first book on tea. In his classic book, he detailed his studies of tea, such as the origin of tea, tea tools, tea picking, tea cooking, tea ceremony and well-known areas where tea was grown. And the valuable knowledge he recorded has laid foundation for modern tea culture development. That's all, thank you for listening. 第三篇:關於西方文化的作文 (開頭跟前面2篇一樣就可以了) Despite the cultural conflicts between the Orient and the Occident, there do exist some admirable ingredients in the Western culture. First and foremost, the equality between parents and children. The parents are not always superior to their children, and the children do not always need to obey their parents 『order, that is, they are more like close friends. Second, the independent personality. Western people have a strong sense of supporting themselves and being independent. They begin earning their pocket money early in their life, even as kids. Last, Western people do not always assess a person according to his background. If only he can achieve success through personal struggle, he can win status. It's a talent-oriented society, not background-oriented.
