歷史的花開了又謝，謝了又開，千年時光彈指一揮間悄然滑過，回想幾千年前屹立於世界之巔的中國文明--那令人驚嘆的四大發明，先秦諸子的百家爭鳴以及一系列的科學成就，這些無一不昭示著中國文化曾經的繁榮與昌盛。而如今，經歷過近代那場持續一百多年的恥辱的我們，卻不再相信祖先代代傳承至今的古老文化，轉而把西方文化奉為經典，一味的批判中華文化的腐朽與落後。可是，請試想，假如中華文明真的沒有與時俱進，那麼為什麼世界四大古文明如今只剩我們這一支還依然在迸發活力，為什麼經歷了如此多的坎坷，它依舊屹立於世界東方，巋然不倒。我們的文化一直都在創新啊，只是有些人不曾發覺罷了。就拿漢字來說，經歷了小篆、隸書、楷書再到行書，到如今，簡體漢字已被我們應用在生活的方方面面，設想一下，假如我們還要寫那些壁畫繁瑣的字體來表達自己，那麼生活中會平添多少不便!

一向素雅的古街變得妖嬈起來。我的心狠狠地抽搐，西方化的風潮席捲了大街小巷，何處才是中華本土文化的歸處?
心惶間，瞥見一處孤巷，在燈紅酒綠的陰影中，那經歷過風雨滄桑的石板路，路旁古樸的門扉，似有縷縷馨香隨風而來，吸引我走近。
巷口，一位老人鶴發童顏，只見他手持一支羊毛大毫在地上書寫，筆足有一米多高。我忍不住站立一旁，欣賞這副畫面：老人緊握著筆，將筆浸入身邊的硯盤，吸水、提筆、起、頓、轉、出鋒，筆畫是那麼遒勁有力沾上水跡的青石板瞬間變得極富神韻。老人一筆而下，有如神仙般的縱逸，那大筆之下似融入了儒家的堅毅、果敢和進取;又似蘊涵了老莊的虛淡，散遠和沉靜閑適。
