珠穆朗瑪峰是喜馬拉雅山脈的主峰，同時是世界海拔最高的山峰，位於中國與尼泊爾邊境線上，北部在中國西藏定日縣境內，南部在尼泊爾境內，是世界最高峰。

珠穆朗瑪峰山體呈巨型金字塔狀，威武雄壯昂首天外，地形極端險峻，環境非常復雜。雪線高度：北坡為5800～6200米，南坡為5500～6100米。
