要想學好英語口語，就必須首先做到四個最基本的要求：「聽，說，讀」。
聽，是聽版的細；說，是說的懂；讀，是讀權的准；寫，是寫的對。
聽，要做到聽的細。一周必須要用兩到三天的時間來花費一兩個小時聽磁帶，一邊拿著書，一邊還得跟著磁帶大聲讀出來，這樣可以能夠更快的，而且不易忘記的順利記住。
說，要做到說的懂。把英語文章或單詞的漢譯重新說一遍，要保持翻譯的時候不能卡殼，要翻譯的順暢，像語文那樣也要做到翻譯的用詞准確，句子通順，像我是這樣練的
讀，要做到讀的准。（如果發音不準的先學音標）聽一些英語材料，跟著讀，一開始可以調慢速，一句一句跟著讀。
