It was a cloudleday. The warmth of the fall sun made the day seem as if it would be perfect. Yes, for me perhaps, but not exactly for the technician who was working on one of my laboratory machines. The technician definitely knew what he was doing and seemed exceptionally qualified except for one thing. He was no electrician. He had found a motor that he identified as being bad. The motor shaft was much too difficult to turn and he had indicated that this was a major problem. "Expect two to three days for a new one to arrive," he said.
One thing my friend didn't understand is that when power is supplied to a generator, it becomes a motor and when mechanical power is applied to a motor, it becomes a generator. During the proceof his working on the machine he disconnected the leads to the motor and spun the shaft turning the motor into a generator. Disconnecting the leads in effect took the load off the motor, the leads being connected causing the motor not to turn freely. He looked rather perplexed to see the motor shaft spin so freely. For reasons unknown to me, he spun the shaft again and grabbed the wires protruding from the motor. I don't believe I have ever heard quite the string of expletives that this man let fly from his mouth. With his eyes widened he had to slap his hand loose from the wires as the flow of generated electricity locked the grip of his hand.
Now this being funny all by itself, it evidently wasn't funny enough for the technician because he spun the motor and grabbed the leads again. Another string of expletives that have never been heard previously by man were unleashed unto the world.
Several years ago, I had heard about a man who went fishing with an old crank type telephone generator. He'd drop the leads into the water and crank the generator causing the fish to be shocked whereby they would float to the top for him to collect. On this warm and cloudlefall day, I'd say, the technician's fish had all floated to the top.

一、班級整體情況
在優秀班主任xxx的帶領下，我們班比較優秀(進步較大)，上個學期期末我們英語學科是蘭溪市統一測試的，我們取得了優異的成績，但也有小部分學生明顯落後與別人，主要表現在上課注意力不集中，不喜歡張口讀書，動作偏慢，家庭作業沒有按時上交或乾脆不交等現象，久而久之，他的各種表現就落後了，不管是考試成績，口語交流，還是書寫。就不如其他學生。
二、英語學科的特點
本學期我們用的是PEP英語教材的升級版，它比原來的舊教版有了更高的要求，在學生聽、說、讀、寫的基礎上，強調語言的運用，注重能力的培養，培養學生自主學習的能力和獨立運用所學語言去做事的能力。但教學內容緊密聯系小學生的生活和學習實際，選擇話題充分考慮到小學生的需求，涉及學校、家庭、飲食、玩具、動物、顏色、數字等。本學期還增加了機器人(Robin)角色，更富有童趣。因此，英語學科的學習本身趣味性比較強，成績好的同學會越學越有趣，小部分同學基礎沒打好，興趣也就減弱了，畢竟學習的過程是從易到難的。低段簡單的沒學會，到高段難的知識點學起來就感覺累了。英語課程每個單元的.課型也比較清晰的，每單元有AB兩部分重點內容，每部分有三中課型;單詞教學，對話教學和閱讀教學;還有C部分，也就是故事教學是選學內容，我們一般不作課堂授課，作為有興趣的同學自己自學內容。
三、如何在家監督孩子的英語學習
1。關注家庭作業
每周有三節英語課，這三天里我都會布置家庭作業，並且我對家庭作業有具體的要求：若當天是新授單詞課，那晚上的作業肯定是默寫單詞;若是對話課，那晚上的作業肯定是默寫重點句，對預習作業的要求是：聽錄音，若預習單詞，要在家校聯系本上抄寫單詞，我沒有規定抄寫幾遍，目的是培養學生主動學習的習慣，而不是每天機械地完成老師布置的作業。若對話課或閱讀課，要求翻譯漢語的意思，寫在家校聯系本上。第二天由四人小組長檢查，發現很多孩子是來學校補的，可見聽力作業也不會完成。所以，從今天以後，家長可以根據這幾個要求去關自己孩子完成作業的情況，當然這之前也有做得很好的家長，不但關注孩子的學習還天天在家校聯系本上簽名。雖然我沒有強制性要求學生每天讓家長簽名，目的是杜絕孩子造假，高段了有的孩子很聰明，自己簽個名，每天簽名的家長我是記憶很深刻的，你的孩子也很優秀，我也很感謝您對英語學科的支持和關注。
2。關注單元測試測試卷簽名。其實測試卷上家長簽名，是一個外在的形式，我的目的是，讓家長知道孩子一個階段的學習成果，看孩子的試卷，不光看分數的高低，更要關注孩子錯誤的原因，是因為粗心，還是因為本身就不會。一次考試，不僅僅只是分數上的收獲，更是一種學習方法上的收獲。也是鼓勵和鞭策孩子，讓孩子有學習的成就感，每次測試後我都以不同的方式給予學生獎勵，有，優秀獎，進步獎，鼓勵獎。考慮到有的學生存在報喜不報憂的情況，每次試卷下發後，我都會以簡訊的方式，通知給家長。
四、幾點希望
1。家長要轉變觀念，要把語文，數學，英語放在同等位置。經常可以聽到家長的議論，小學英語沒關系，初中會重學的，其實這是一種錯誤的觀念。初中七年級是有三個模塊式復習內容的，但後面的內容跨度還是很大的，明年的中考英語難度系數又增加了，取消了選擇題的題型，9月2日高考制度出台，高三考試分為英語、語文、數學，各科總分是150分。所以養成良好的學習習慣要從小學開始，孩子的學習必須家校合作，因為時代在進步，再也不要和你那時自己的學習比較。希望家長再家多費點心，多關注自己孩子的英語學習情況。
2。多關注孩子的學習動態，別過早的放棄孩子對英語的學習，要意識到小學的知識相對來說是比較簡單的，更多的是要讓孩子有學英語的動力，多鼓勵，不要一味的責罵，多和孩子交流，溝通。

大家好！
兩年前，我從xx英語教育院校畢業，躊躇滿志地從大學校門里走出來，滿懷信心地踏進了這滿是孩子們的天堂。在我開始接任四年級二班的英語教程那一刻，我的心情忐忑不安，不知能否把課上好，當我真正走上工作崗位，走上四二班教室的講台時，面對一個個鮮活可愛的面孔，面對一雙雙求知的眼睛，我總是一次次默默的告訴自己，要努力，要加油，要成為深受學生歡迎的好老師。
有人說兒童是一本書雖然要讀懂這本書並非易事，但要成為一位出色的教師就必須去讀它，有人說，兒童是花木，教師是園丁，園丁悉心照料著花木，但需要尊重它們自然地成長。實際上，兒童比花木要復雜的多，教師的工作比園丁的工作也復雜的多，盡管他們擁有著共同或共通的規律。法國文學家雨果在他的詩里曾經寫到：「花是尊貴的，果實是甜美的，讓我們都來做葉吧，因為葉，是平凡而謙遜的。」我覺得這首詩就是為教師寫的，因為教師就像那默默奉獻的綠葉，時時刻刻襯托著鮮花的嬌艷。今天，在慶祝教師節的日子裡，我榮幸地站上這方講台，誦讀這樣意味深長的詩句，即將開始我至真至誠的講述，我心中無比激動，也感到萬分的驕傲自豪。
時光匆匆，轉眼間我已走過了四年的從教生涯。雖然在大家看來這段時間有些短暫。但細數往昔歲月的點點滴滴，我還是要長嘆：生活原來給了我們那麼多感動。為了這真情付出後得到的感動，我一直在追求著。剛剛參加工作時，信心百倍。記得第一次以教師的身份走進課堂，感覺一切都是那樣美好。然而，醉酒方知酒味濃，為師才知為師難。一段時間之後，我先前良好的自我感覺早就一掃而空，面對一群求知慾渴的孩子們，我才真正意識到教師職業是何等的艱辛和瑣碎，三尺講台站上去容易，要站好可真難啊！
每個人都希望自己的人生風和日麗，鶯歌燕舞。但月有陰晴圓缺，人有旦夕禍福，挫折和失敗總是不斷地踩痛我們的心。我們是把失意的怨氣撒在孩子身上，還是收起此時內心的苦楚用微笑面對純真可愛的孩子？我想沒有人願意選擇前者，因為你的心中有愛！魯迅先生有句話「教育是植根與愛的」。是的，愛是教育的源泉，教師有了愛，才會用伯樂的眼光去發現孩子們的閃光點，才會對自己的教育對象充滿了信心和愛心，才會有追求卓越的精神和創新的精神。
今天，我是一名小學英語教師，愛我的學生，我會像母親一樣無私和不求索取；愛我的學生，我會像手足一樣把心和他們貼得更近；愛我的學生，我會像朋友一樣與他們風雨同舟；愛我的學生，我會不溺愛不袒護，在他們跌倒時，鼓勵他們勇敢的站起來！我相信「人民教師」這光榮而神聖的稱謂，它總能讓我擁有無窮的力量。

尊敬的各位領導、老師：
大家好！今天我演講的題目是《責任與使命》。
花的責任是散發芬芳，鳥的責任是飛揚歌聲，樹的責任是營造綠蔭。生活中的每一個人，也都有自己的所應該承擔的責任。給人責任，也就給了信任和真誠，有了責任，也就成就了尊嚴和使命。
十幾年前，我帶著對新生活的憧憬，帶著教書育人的職業使命，走到了講台這一方土天地間。一千多個日日夜夜已悄然逝去，曾經的我默默的下定決心，一定要在自己的事業上有所成就，我要用心來對待我的工作，用自己的方式詮釋我對教育的理解，也就是帶著這種信念和決心，幾年來我對工作可謂是一絲不苟，勤勤懇懇。對待任何工作我都充滿著熱情，學校給予的各種機會我都牢牢把握。無數個白天黑夜，我遠離了喧囂人群，多少個寧靜的夜晚，我安於寂寞，筆耕不輟。有時，為了備好一堂課，我認真鑽研教材好幾遍；有時，為了准備一篇論文，我翻閱大量書籍，不斷學習新知，提升教育理念；有時，為了寫好一則報道，對簡單的幾十個字我反復琢磨，細細推敲；也有時，為了完成上級交給的緊急任務，我加班加點直到雄雞報曉。更有時為了輔導學生的比賽放棄無數個中午和休息日，只為完成我自己的使命。
還依稀記得前幾年的那次小學英語歌詠歌謠比賽，那是我第一次輔導學生比賽。出於對職業的這份責任心，我給了自己壓力，從接到通知的那一刻，我就開始張羅。於是幾乎所有的空餘時間，我都在苦思冥想，構思，選曲，選人每一個細節我都力求做到最完美。三年級的孩子懂的英語實在是太少，我沒法將歌詞復印給他們自己去背，只能對著10個孩子一個單詞一個單詞地教。但是讓我最困惑的不是這個，而是沒有時間給我們排練，很多次都要我一個個教室的去找人，等別的組都訓練完了我們再抓緊時間排練一會兒。跟本不會唱歌的我卻讓她們一句一句跟著我唱直到熟練為止，更不善於跳舞的我卻要自創隊型，自編動作，一遍一遍地教，一個一個動作細扣。奇怪的是我一點也不感覺到累，反倒覺得和這群孩子一起排練的日子很幸福，只有在那個時候我才能覺得這群孩子是屬於我的，我喜歡那種感覺。這就是我，一個普通的小學英語老師，我沒有力量去改變什麼，但我希望能把自己的能力發揮到極致。我會不厭其煩的跟學生強調英語的重要性，只是真心的希望他們能為初中的學習打下更好的基礎；我也會花上兩個星期的時間，記住所教班級的學生的名字，只是希望能更快的了解他們；我還會一次次向領導提出建議，以期用我微弱的力量來改變學生英語學習的現狀，因為這是我——一個平凡的小學英語教師的使命。
責任與使命——是你成熟的標志和跨進成功大門的門票，責任是永生的動力，持續的激情。三尺講台啊，如果只為一時的沖動，誰會走向你？如果只為一時的好奇，誰會留戀你？對你的虔誠，註定我要在你那尺方的天地，作永生的戰斗。

尊敬的各位領導、各位老師：
大家下午好！
首先感謝區教研室的領導給我一次與大家交流的機會。在座的各位畢業班英語老師都是經驗非常豐富的，在大家面前來談英語教學的經驗實在是慚愧。為了提高英語教學質量，我的確是想了很多的辦法，這裡面有成功帶來的喜悅，也有失敗帶來的反思。這些談不上經驗，現簡單地做個介紹，如有不當之處，敬請各位批評指正。
記得剛剛走上工作崗位的我曾經信心百倍，認為小學英語教學應該是很簡單的事情，不就是聽、說、讀、寫嘛，沒什麼難的，但真正開始教學，真正開始接觸學生之後，我才感覺到：小學英語教學尤其是我們農村學生的英語教學真是坎坷難行。教學一開始我就遇到了種種問題。有一大部分學生在潛意識里根本沒有把英語當一回事，有些學生甚至有抵觸的情緒。從家庭上看，我們的學生家庭大部分屬於農村家庭，英語沒有被受到重視，再加上家長能聽懂英語的少之又少，更別說輔導了。從環境上來看，學生除了課堂上短短的40分鍾外，基本上就沒有使用英語的環境了，放學後聽英語磁帶的作業也有大部分學生不能自覺完成，再加上英語課課時較少，因此我的英語教學開展得並不順暢。面對如此多的問題，我決定從學生的學習興趣、學習方法和學習習慣方面去入手解決。現想從我的切身體會談幾點做法及建議：
一、要從自身找原因，培養學生學習英語的興趣。
自己先要想辦法，持有一份樂觀的態度，勤思考，樂奉獻。給學生一份愛，讓學生喜歡你，從而喜歡上你的英語課。因為興趣是最好的老師，當學生喜歡上你的課了，專心地聽講了，那課堂上所取得的效果不就事半功倍了嗎？在培養學生學習興趣方面，我做了如下工作：
（一）、用愛去灌溉學生。
首先用心地給學生一份愛。因為愛可以融化人與人之間的隔閡，給學生一份愛，同時你也會收獲到他們對您的愛。我們要在日常生活接觸中體現愛，例如下課後，我大多時間都會逗留在班裡，跟他們談談學習上的問題、說說家常話或開個玩笑逗逗他們，他們會不亦樂乎。時間長了，他們就把我當朋友了。記得20xx年那屆我班有個頑皮又聰明的學生叫黃永樟，各門功課成績極差，經常不及格甚至低分，是讓語文數學老師頭疼的學生。可英語科他卻十分感興趣，能拿八、九十分，為什麼他英語成績那麼高呢，原因是他被我「俘虜」了，很愛上英語課，也很喜歡給我拉家常。有一次，下課了，他走到我跟前，興奮地告訴我，他家大母狗生了5條小狗，可愛極了。
（二）、注重課前、課堂中氣氛的調和。
每次上課走來，總能從樓下聽到我班朗朗的英語讀書聲，當我站在講台上的第一句話便是及時地、微笑著表揚他們：「Youhadagoodjob，children。」在樓下我已經能聽到你們朗朗的讀書聲了，老師真開心啊，你們讀得那麼好，或很自豪的或說：「哇，你們讀書真棒，所有老師聽了也對你們豎起了大拇指」，這樣小小的表揚就充分樹立他們的自信心，他們會很高興，下次他們會讀得更好。別以為這樣的方法六年級不適用了，恰好這些方法我都是一年級，六年級通用的，課堂上也注重學生的學習狀態，隨時調整課堂氣氛，使學生在一個良好的氛圍里不知不覺地學到了知識。記得去年的六（1）班下午第一節英語，由於3月份天氣原因，學生總有一種「春眼不覺曉，處處聞啼鳥」的倦態，那節課學生的精神狀態很差，學習積極性不高，我想：如果這樣講下去效果肯定不好，於是我臨時利用我班的搞笑大王葉寶彬同學做著火點，從他入手，我說：「Hello寶彬，howoldareyoutoday？」他被我突如其來的問題嚇愣了，我順勢說：「我猜你有30歲了」全班同學一聽，哈的一聲笑起來，眼神都看著寶彬，我說：「看你今天上課的心態有30歲了吧？好，老師決定今天幫你時光倒流，把你變成3歲的小孩子，好嗎？」這時寶彬不好意思的笑了，全班同學也來起了精神，他們倒要看看我怎樣把寶彬同學變成一個3歲的小孩子。也許有的老師會說，這樣每天浪費時間在與學習無關的事上，不就事倍功半了嗎？我覺得恰恰相反，每節課恰當的氣氛調節，是課堂上良好的調料，把他們的學習注意力集中到課堂上，那效果不就事半功倍了嗎，總比羅羅嗦嗦講紀律強多了，而實踐證時，我也收到了較好的教學效果
二、抓好課堂教學掌握良好的學習方法。
不管是哪一門學科，要想有好成績，課堂教學的質量是最重要的，課後炒冷飯，補的效果當然也有，那肯定會費時費力。在課堂教學方面，要注意方法，尤其是一些無味枯燥的內容，要找易於學生理解的切入點，要想方設法吸引學生。對於自己今天所上的內容自己一定要有個清晰的思路，課後及時反思。例如反思一下你今天教的開心嗎？學生學得開心嗎？學生學到了什麼，遺漏了什麼等等。同時對於一些後進生，課堂上千萬不要丟掉他們，不理他們，不給他們發言、練說的機會。相反，要像警察一樣時常盯著他們，與他們進行目光的交流。因為他們後進，可能有更多的聽不懂的地方，而容易開小差，教師的目光以及點名回答，一是提醒他認真聽課，同時也是在給他練習的機會。
三、培養良好的學習習慣。
（一）、全面實行「一幫一」，充分發揮學生的作用。
為了提高英語教學質量，提高學生的英語學習成績，我還注意培養學生的互助學習習慣，分小組學習，小組成員結成一幫一的互助對子，充分發揮學生的作用，例如做有關語法和時態得練習題時，讓他們同桌或小組討論：這題為什麼這樣做，原因是什麼，讓他們用語法或時態等說出理由，說服對方。這樣既讓基礎好的學生所學的知識得到了鞏固，又幫助了其他的同學共同進步，不再出現很嚴重的「兩極分化」，可以說是一舉兩得。
（二）、課後補差工作。
班裡總會出現一些個別的差生，不是學習習慣差就是基礎差，教師一定要課後花工夫，進行輔導。例如我就我校實際情況，請示校長，同時得到校領導的大力支持，每天利用早讀前20分鍾，到三樓電教室給他們補課。讓他們把遺忘的知識都溫故而知新。我覺得這樣做效果還是挺大的，原來不及格的學生都追趕上來了，消滅了不及格率。
作為一名小學英語老師，我們肩負的擔子是沉重的，我們的任務是艱巨的，古語說的好，教有法，但無定法，重在用法，貴在創法。希望我們全體英語老師共同努力，創造更多的教學方法，更有效地提高英語教學質量。以上是我對小學英語教學的一些淺談，說得不好請批評指教。謝謝大家！
