英語四級作文常見類型
從作文類型來看，對比選擇類、現象解釋類、問題解決類以及應用文類是考查的重點。
從題材來看，一般考查兩類話題，一類是校園生活話題，包括學習、日常生活、工作及健康交際等;另一類是社會熱點話題，考生對這類話題比較熟悉。兩類相結合的趨勢越來越大。
從體裁來看，一般包括議論文、說明文、圖表作文和應用文寫作(包括書信、便條、通知、海報等)。從近五年真題的趨勢來看，議論文仍然是四級作文的考查重點。
從命題形式看，主要有提綱作文、情景作文、提示作文、圖表作文、關鍵詞作文等。其中最容易作為考題的是提綱作文、情景作文及圖表作文。

④ 英語四級答題策略和技巧
首先，第一大題是寫作。規定時間30分鍾內完成，審題很重要，看清楚要求，切記不能少字，要注意文章結構比例，一般要分三段。在考試之前，要多背幾篇範文，或者背框架，考試的時候可以套，多關注一些考試熱點等。
其次，聽力部分。它在四級考試中占相當大的比例，所以要認真對待。在准備考試之前可以把往年的試題做一遍，如果做錯了，再聽，要精細的聽，直到聽懂為止。每天保證聽半小時歷年真題聽力。在考試的時候，在錄音空隙或者朗讀提示語時，先總體瀏覽題目，預測文章大意。然後帶著題目關鍵詞聽，這樣具有一定的針對性。
然後是閱讀，它和聽力占相同比例。對於閱讀信息匹配題，先看題再看文章，關鍵詞要定位，注意題干中的數字、特殊的人名、地名等等，因為這樣很有可能在原文中直接對應，就可以輕易的找出來。精讀要先看題目，留意what、why、to、view，同時要記背往年同義替換詞。選詞填空的時候要分清詞性、根據前後信息判斷詞性、將對應詞性帶回原文，看是否搭配。在做閱讀的時候要把選詞填空放在最後做。
最後就是翻譯。要廣泛的接觸一些新詞或者多認識一些高頻詞語。在備考時候要根據自己的思維去翻譯一些句子，等翻譯完後對照答案有什麼異同，從中總結歸納，或者背一些翻譯也是有好處的。
