Good morning, everyone. The title of my speech is 「What college ecation means to me」.
For me, college ecation is a marvelous ship-builder. With great vision, college ecation has equipped me, first with a powerful propeller--the knowledge in certain field and wide exposure to other disciplines. By devoting myself to my courses in the day and immersing myself in the world literature at night, I』ve amassed the driving force for the future and enriched my soul.
Besides, college ecation has also provided me with a precise compass--the sense of social responsibility. How can I best serve the public while achieving my self-fulfillment? My one year』s experience as an English tutor has proved: to be valuable to society as well as to find my place, I have to possess some actual strength and the ability to function well in the most challenging situation. Amid the hectic schele that balances club activities, sports, and academic courses, I feel the rhythm and beauty in my life, knowing that I 』m on the right way.
And more importantly, college ecation has set up not only single ships, but also fleets with common destinations. By interacting with friends of common beliefs, I』ve acquired skills of relating to other people.
Now,as a ship about to make my maiden voyage,I』m still not in the position to tell what』s waiting ahead of me,but with a powerful propeller, a precise compass and ardent companions of sailing in the sea of society, I』m ready to be a great sea-explorer. Thank you.
大學教育對我的意義
大家早上好。今天我演講的題目是「大學教育對我的意義」。
對我來說，大學教育猶如一位技藝精湛的造船師。首先，具有遠見卓識的大學教育為我裝配了一隻馬力強勁的推進器；專業知識及廣博的課外知識給我帶來無限動力。白天我全神貫注地研習自己的課程，晚上則盡情享受世界文學，在此過程中，我既為未來積聚了力量，又充實了自己的靈魂。
此外，大學教育還為我提供了一個精確的羅盤，即社會責任感。「如何才能在實現自我價值的同時最大限度地服務於社會？」我一年的英語家教的經歷證明：只有擁有過硬的實力和對高挑戰性局面應付自如的能力，我才能成為一個對社會有價值的人，一個找到自己位置的人。在協調著社團活動、體育運動和專業課程的忙碌日程中，我感受到了生活的韻律與美麗。 更為重要的是，大學教育不僅僅製造了一隻只單個的船隻，他還組建了一支支駛向同一目的地的大艦隊。在與志趣相投的朋友們的相處、融合中，我鍛煉了與人交往的能力。
現在我即將作為一隻巨輪開始我的首航，盡管前方的情況還無法預料，我卻有充足的信心作一名出色的海洋探索者，因為我有強勁的推進器、精確的羅盤，還有一幫與我同行、一起駛向社會之洋的熱心朋友！

·Self assessment I quit understood that the self assessment is very important to my occupation choices and life choices, I need to know what I want. every people has a job that suits him/her, this is mainly relates with one』s own disposition and characteristic. In other words, the work he/she likes will possibly brings a certain sense of joy and creativity for himself/herself. I would like to analysis myself from the aspects below.
1、 My change in the university Here is mainly some ideas of myself, because after two years of university study, it must have something that I remember and obtained. I thought that my two years of university life have change mush of my dispositions, as I have said before, when I was in elementary school, I am too shy to speak to other people, even did not have courage to reply the teacher's question. Many people including my parents said that I have psychological problem. In the university, I found that the students around me are all very talkative, and are willing to make friends. therefore I try to join them, and spend my time among friends, no matter the person is I knew or never met. Then I started my first lecture, also started my first student cadre experience, these transformed me ring two year. Therefore I can confidently say that I am dare to speak to any teacher, or make an extemporaneous speech before students now. That is my change

As is well known, books teach us to learn life, truth, science and many other useful things. They increase our knowledge, broaden our minds and strengthen our character. In other words, they are our good teachers and wise friends. This is the reason why our parents always encourage us to read more books.
Reading is a good thing, but we must pay great attention to the choice of books. It is true that we can derive benefits from good books. However, bad books will do us more harm than good.
