This is a photo of the volunteers at Shanghai Expo in 2010. With smiles on the face, the volunteers in the photo felt very happy because they could do much volunteering work for the success of the Expo. During the Expo, hundreds and thousands of volunteers offered enthusiastic service to all visitors, displaying to the whole world the active participation of the Chinese citizens in volunteerism.

今年寒假大學生社會實踐活動仍然堅持「受教育、長才幹、做貢獻」的原則，充分發揮了青年學生的智力和人才優勢，深入社會各個層面開展社會調查活動，強化對國情和省情的認識，傳播科學技術和文明新風，為農村經濟和社會發展做出積極貢獻。
二、活動的指導思想
深入學習、宣傳、貫徹黨的十八大精神，以科學發展觀為指導，以「真情助困進萬家」為主題，充分發揮大學生知識技能優勢，以分散為主，按照就近、就地、就便的原則，進一步深化「三下鄉」活動和「四進社區」活動，為廣大人民群眾做實事、辦好事、解難事，切實把黨和政府的關心送到群眾中去。
三、活動的重點內容和形式
經濟學院今年的寒假社會實踐活動在總結以往工作經驗的基礎上，充分發揮了經濟學院學科和專業優勢，採取點面結合、集中組隊與就近就便分散活動相結合的方式進行。活動形式重點以社會調查、志願服務為主，由各年級（部 www.zhlzw.com ）圍繞以下主要內容組織青年學生就近就便參加。
（一）社區文化服務與社區需求調研活動。下學期，經濟學院即將啟動大學生志願服務社區行動計劃。為確保此項工作有效開展並建立長期機制，各個學院要利用學生返鄉的機會，深入所屬社區開展社區文化服務和社區需求調查活動，重點掌握城市社區的各個類型、現狀以及對志願服務活動的需求情況，總結了以往大學生開展社區服務的經驗和教訓，對下一步我院開展大規模的社區服務活動提出意見和建議。各學院不僅發動廣大同學深入調研，寫出[你閱讀的文章來自:126範文網]調查報告，各年級、班級還專門組織力量開展了專題調研活動，開學後組織了學生召開座談會，匯總掌握有關情況，向院團總支提交高質量的調研報告，為我院開展好社區服務活動提供政策依據。通過各個年級的匯報情況可以看出，我們的這一次調研顯示了青年大學生的社區優勢，知識優勢以及年齡優勢，通過調研同學們知道了一些在日常的學習和生活中所不為所知的東西，獲得了許許多多有價值的信息。
（二）基層落實科學發展觀學習考察訪談活動。我們組織青年學生進行基層落實科學發展觀考察訪談活動，青年學生在學習考察訪談過程中，深刻感受到科學思想的偉大精神力量轉化為促進農業和農村經濟發展的巨大物質力量的生動現實和傑出成就，加深了對科學發展觀內涵的認識，學習領會了黨的十八大的精神實質。我院青年學生進行基層落實科學發展觀學習教育考察訪談活動要充分發揮青年學生黨員和入黨積極分子的專業技能優勢和優良的政治素質，通過發放張貼宣傳品、開展社會調查等形式，積極為農民群眾開展支教掃盲、文藝演出、幫扶農村弱勢群體等多種服務，把先進文化、先進生產力送到農村基層，在服務中宣傳、實踐科學發展觀。通過尋訪黨的革命歷史舊址、走訪老黨員、考察農村改革開放成就、與地方黨政幹部座談等形式，重點了解了基層在落實科學發展觀過程中發生的積極變化，使廣大青年學生學習、繼承了黨的優良傳統，從中學習和借鑒新鮮經驗，接受正面教育，堅定理想信念。

Keeping Pets
There is no denying the fact that keeping pets is a hotly debated topic today. Some people claim that keeping pets is a good thing to do. They believe that pets, like cats and dogs, can help relieve the loneliness suffered by senior citizens and other social members who are confined to their homes for this reason or that. They also argue that keeping pets helps mankind understand animals' world and develop positive feelings toward them.
