On the other hand, some young people keep the clear mind, they make themselves look perfect by doing exercise and keep balanced diet. Their purpose is not looking as good as movie starts, but for keeping fit. They don』t believe in the ads, they believe that lose weight not properly will hurt the body, so they pay special attention to the health.

Fast food is becoming more and more popular in China, especially among children and teenagers. Today, nothing is more representative of the fast pace of modern society than fast food.
There are several reasons for its popularity. For one thing, it is fast and convenient. Go into a fast food restaurant, and your food will be ready in a minute. Precious time won』t be wasted waiting-in-line to order or waiting at your table for your food to serve. For another, its popularity is also attributed to the clean food, the excellent service and the comfortable environment of the fast food restaurants in American style.

She is also a thrifty, and instrious woman. She saves every cent that she can and keeps everything in order. As she has been busy eversince she was young, she looks older than she really is. Her face is wrinkled, her hair becomes silver white, but she works as hard as ever.
Often she says to us, "work while you work, play while you play. If you do not work, you will become lazy and of no use to society." What piece of good advice this is! We must worth it well and always keep it in our mind.

我的母親是一位心地善良、性情溫和的女性。她總是彬彬有禮。她細心地照顧孩子並使他們都上學讀書。我有一個哥哥，兩個妹妹，所以她總共有四個孩子。她使我們做每件事時都感到舒適。我們都愛她，她也愛我們。

She loves her students and cares for them. She treats them with patience and teaches them well. And she has been chosen or elected as a model teacher several times.
My mother is a thrifty and instrious woman. She never buys expensive or fancy dresses for herself; she goes occasionally to buy some inexpensive and high-quality clothes for us. She never goes to luxurious restaurants to enjoy expensive meals. She merely eats a humble meal outside when she is too busy. She lives a busy yet simple life, without any complaints. As soon as she comes back from school, she sets about doing housework: sweeping the living room and bedreooms or cleaning the furniture, and putting everything in good order. Besides, she prepares nice dishes for us to eat. She seems to be on the go all the time. As she has been very busy working hard every day, she looks older than she really is. Her face is wrinkled, and her hair has turned silver white. But she looks as cheerful and happy as ever.
Often she says to us, "Work while you work, and play while you play. That is the way to be happy and gay. If you do not work, you will become lazy and of no use to society." What a piece of good advice this is! I never forget it and always bear it in my mind. This advice of hers will always serve as a guide to my action. My mother is great indeed, and I always feel proud of her.

「Practice makes perfect」means that if you do an activity regularly, you will become good at it.Anyone who has had sufficient practice in doing a particular job may perform better and more quickly than those with little practic.
Take English learning for example. When we learn English, we have to learn grammar, words and phrases.It is not so difficult for us to understand and remember the rules, But when we speak or write with the words and rules in mind, we find it difficult to express it in English smoothly or corredtly.On the contrary, those who keep on practising listening,speaking,reading and writing English can communicate in English at ease and fluently.For anther exemple, a skilled driver may talk with others while driving.Both learning and driving require plenty of practice for the mastery of skills.

What Is Happiness?
What is happiness? Perhaps different people have different views on happiness.
Some people think that material satisfaction would bring happiness.But in fact they overlooked the fact that true happiness comes from the realization of your career/cause you persue which contributes the success of others as well as your own. Some peopole try every means to make money at the expense of others』 interest . These people harm others to benefit themselves,They think the greater sum of money they make, the happier they will be. On the contrary, some people think that spiritual satisfaction is the greatest happiness.They do everything for the people. They live, work, and sacrifice their lives for the people.
In my opinion, I believe, one』s value lies in the value of serving the people, the country and the whole societyI am sure those who make contributions, big or small, to our country will be regarded as the happiest people,They should be recognized and respected. The point is what you can do,but not how people look on you.It is how much you contribute ,not how much you gain,I think this is the true meaing of life that everyone of us should have.

就以學英語為例吧。我們學英語時，必須學習語法、單詞和短語，要理解和記住這些規則對我們來說並不難。但當我們用這些單詞和規則說或寫時，就發現很難用英語流利而正確地表達。相反，不斷練習英語聽說讀寫的人能用英語隨意交談。再舉一個例子，一個熟練的司機能邊開車邊與他人交談。學英語和開車都需要大量實踐來掌握技能。
顯然，實踐是很重要的。若想提高你的學習和工作，就該記住良好的開端是成功的一半，行動比語言響亮，實踐要有熱情和興趣，實踐要有恆心和耐心，實踐要有積極他度和自信心。最後同樣重要的是，熟能生巧，熟能創造奇跡。
幸福是什麼？也許不同的人對幸福有著不同的看法。
有人認為物質上的滿足將帶給人幸福，但實際上，他們忽略了這樣一個事實：真正的幸福是所追求事業的實現，這種事業不僅有利於自己而且也有利於他人。有些人想盡各種辦法去謀取他人的利益，損人利己。在他們看來，賺的錢越多，就越幸福。相反，有些人認為精神上的滿足才是最幸福的。他們為人民做各種事情，為人民而活、而工作，甚至為人民貢獻自己的生命。
在我看來，一個人的價值體現在為人民、為國家和為整個社會的服務之中。我相信那些為國家做貢獻的人，無論他們的貢獻是大是小，都會是最幸福的人，他們會得到人們的承認和敬佩。人生的價值是你做了些什麼，而不是人們怎麼看待你，是你貢獻了多少，而不是你得到了多少。我認為這才是我們每個人應該具備的生命的真正意義。
