Progress in medical technology has indeed made the threat to human health, such as diseases, timely prevented,diagnosed and treated, and the quality of human life improved as well as human life cycle extended.

Let's do a bold vision, along with the development of better medical technology, perhaps a few more years later, it will not be merely a dream for human to live to two hundred years or even five hundred years . Human cloning technology can be used to clone the organs needed to invent a universal medicine to cure cancer and other fatal diseases; we can also use gene technology to diagnose and treat currently intractable diseases. Perhaps mankind can really live forever, unless, 2012 end of the world really happened.

In fact, the current medical standards are far advanced to imagine, there are many incurable diseases threatening our lives. Therefore, we still have a lot of things to do, there is still a long way to go.
