一、 *arrive*是不及物動詞，表示「到達、抵達某地（尤指行程的終
點），後常接介詞at 或in，一般in接大地方，at接小地方，若是地點副詞，
則不需用介詞。例如：

Do you know what time the plane *arrive* in Moscow？

你知道飛機什麼時候抵達莫斯科？

They arrived at the station at 8 this morning.

他們今天早晨八點到達車站的。

Her mother saw her when she arrived home

.她到家時她媽媽看見了她。

二、 *reach*是及物動詞，直接接賓語，無須介詞，和*arrive*一樣，屬
正式用語。例如：

When she reached home，her mother asked，「Have you got
everything？」當她回到家時，她媽媽問道，「所有的東西都買了嗎？」

They reached Beijing on February 17.

他們於二月十七日到達北京。

三、 和*arrive*一樣，*get*也是不及物動詞，只是它多用於口語，其後接的介
詞是to，後面如接副詞，則不用介詞to。例如：

I *get* to school at about 7：30 every day，and I *get* home
at 5：00 in the afternoon..

我每天7：30到校，下午5：00到家。

The visitors got there last night.

參觀的人昨晚到這兒的。

從上面的句子可以看出，這幾個詞的區別不是太大，主要是別用混了介詞。例如
「格林先生昨晚抵達武漢」可以說：Mr Green arrived in /got to/reached
Wuhan last night.
