Though my daily life is extremely monotonous, I try hard to adapt myself to

After school is over, I return home. We usually have supper at seven

do his best to obtain knowledge. A man without sufficient knowledge will not
succeed. Secondly, he must remember to improve his health. Only a strong man can
do great tasks. Thirdly, he should receive moral ecation. If his conct is
not good, no one will consider making friends with him.

There is no doubt that happiness is the most precious thing in the world.
Without it, life will be empty and meaningless. If you wish to know how to get
happiness, you must pay attention to the following two points.
First, health is the secret of happiness (the key to happiness). Only a
strong man can enjoy the pleasure of life.
Secondly, happiness consists in contentment. A man who is dissatisfied with
his present condition is always in distress.
無疑的快樂是世界上最寶貴的東西。沒有它，人生將是空虛的而且毫無意義的。如果你希望知道如何獲得快樂，你須注意下面兩點。

As is well known, books teach us to learn life, truth, science and many
other useful things. They increase our knowledge, broaden our minds and
strengthen our character. In other words, they are our good teachers and wise
friends. This is the reason why our parents always encourage us to read more
books.
Reading is a good thing, but we must pay great attention to the choice of
books. It is true that we can derive benefits from good books. However, bad
books will do us more harm than good.
如眾所周知，書籍教我們學習人生，真理，科學以及其它許多有用的東西。它們增加我們的知識，擴大我們的心胸並加強我們的品格。換句話說，它們是我們的良師益友。這是為什麼我們的父母終是鼓勵我們要多讀書的理由。

i didn't feel very well today .after lunch , i felt my belly pain . so i went to hosipital with my mother .after had some medicine ,by the way ,it's so bitter ,i had a break . i feel it's serious to be ill .so everyone should take care of itself .healthy is an thing that so important to us . how i wish nobody in the world would get ill any more ! and i make my mind to be a doctor to help the person who are ill , i'll never make the patient feel pain any longer. how i wish my dream could come true! today i was very happy . in the morning , i did some cleaning .i wash cllothes for my parents and clean furniture and floor .i didn't know hoe tired my mom was untill now . i will help my mother do more housework in the near future .then a friend of mine came to visit me ,we were talking for a long time .after lunch ,i had a break. in the afternoon ,i went to saw my grangpa with my brother . we really have a great time . in the evening , i played cards as well as watched tv with my family .it's really an excting day .

it was too hot today .the sunshine was very strong .even if i sit under the fan ,i still feel hot . and i was very fretting because of i felt very empty . my summer hoiday doesn't seems to be meaningful . i stay at home every day and doesn't do anything but play computer . it's so meaningless. the summer holiday is half finished ,however, i haven't do anything meaningful . it was too bad for me .i think i need to do something special to make my holiday be more colurful .

it was a beautiful day . some birds were singing on the trees and the sky looks very blue .the clouds gathered suggest it was a suuny day today .i got up early in the morning at about six . then i did some morning exercises .after breakfast ,i helped my mother plant some flowers .at noon , Xiaojie sended me SMS . she saied that she planed to go to Shangdong Province to have a visit and asked me if i want to go with her .i think it's really a good idea . i plan to go with her after finished my homework . i can't wait !

it was nothing speacial has happened today . i got up late as usual and had lunch at about 11 o'clock . then played computer games with my brother . at first ,i can't played very well so i asked my brother to teach me . after 1 hour , i can play it myself . but i found computer games were so interesting in the afternoon , my mother told me we'll go to my uncle's home at 21th to see my uncle .And at about 7 o'clock ,my father come back home after work . after super , both of my family are go out to have a walk . it was a sunny day and it's not very hot .i didn't get up until 9 o'clock in the morning .because i went to bed late yesterday .after i got up ,i felt very hungry . i ate up all the food that my mother cooked for me .it's so delicious . my uncle bought my grandma a cellphone today , but she didn't know how to use it .so after lunch i went to see my grandma to taught her how to use the cellphone . it was really a hard work , she is too old to remember so many things. finially, i just let her know the simpliest thing ,such as how to dial and hang up the phone .i'll teach her inthe near future .

it was rainy today .in fact , i don't like such days . because i must take an umbrela if i want to go out . i think it's so inconvenient . on the contray , my brother likes rain very much ,he likes play in the water and often go out without umbrella with his friends in rainy days .And they are all become wet from head to foot .i thought it is really a serious thing for me .But i have to say it was much cooler than yesterday because of the rain . my father didn't come back tonight .just because the rain was too heavily . it's dangerous to drive on the road .after supper , i have nothing to do so i went to bad early tonight .

my cousion came back today .i was really very happy .we are always get on well with each other .after lunch ,she suggested me to go shopping with her . we were around a lot of stores and buy so much things . we were really very tired but still very happy . befor supper .we had a talk ,she told me something about her work .she told me how Intense the social competition is .she said it's difficult to servive in the society if we don't work hard . so i decide to stuby hard from now on and i won't make my parents disappiontment .

How can a student love his country (be patriotic)? I find my answer very simple and clear. He must study hard and store up knowledge so as to serve his (the) country in the future. If every student can do according to what I said, the country will certainly be rich and powerful.

1 This year 2009's summer vacation was most enjoyable. I spent fifteen days helping my grandparents doing farm work in the countryside， where I saw mountains fields covered with green plants. Sometimes I went swimming in the river to the west of the village， the water in which was quite clear.
I kept a diary every day. Besides doing farm work， I help the children in the neighborhood with their lessons. All of them showed interest in English. They could read write well，they could hardly understand simple English. So every day in the morning I spent about two hours helping them improve their listening spoken English. They all made great progress. Their parents all thought highly of me. I now realize that knowledge is very needed in the countryside.
2 Summer can be very hot in southern Taiwan where the temperature usually goes up to 32"C or more. Because of the heat it is a trying experience to go to school or do anything else in a place that is not air-conditioned. Also because of this I stay at home most of the time ring the summer vacation andoccasionally go to the beach to plunge myself into the cool water as a way to keep my body less sticky. Actually I like swimming think nothing is more refreshing than a swim. In the summer vacation that has ended I went swimming many times with my classmates we all had a good time. This summer vacation, however, was not spent entirely in seeking fun. As a second-year senior student I had to prepare myself for the college entrance examinations that were a year away. In other words, I must find time to study, too. So I divided my time between work play ring the summer vacation derived benefit from this arrangement.
I spent this summer vacation in quite a different way. I used to run about every day in previous summer vacations,this summer vacation I simply could not afford to do so. I would soon be in the last year of my high-school ecation would after graation be up against the college entrance examinations. Though those examinations were still a year away, I had to start early to make myself well prepared by reviewing all those things I had learned at school this summer vacation was the ideal time for me to do this. At first I was rather dismayed at the thought of this, later I thought it was better this way because by working hard this summer I could count on endless happy summers to come. With this in mind I then set to work like anything and occasionally went out for a change or did some physical. I was not at all bored by this kind of life, for I was sustained by a hope.

Do you mind being called a bad student? Of course not. So far as I know, everybody intends to be (become) a model student.
However, to be a model student is by no means an easy thing. First, he must do his best to obtain knowledge. A man without sufficient knowledge will not succeed. Secondly, he must remember to improve his health. Only a strong man can do great tasks. Thirdly, he should receive moral ecation. If his conct is not good, no one will consider making friends with him.

There is no doubt that happiness is the most precious thing in the world. Without it, life will be empty and meaningless. If you wish to know how to get happiness, you must pay attention to the following two points.
First, health is the secret of happiness (the key to happiness). Only a strong man can enjoy the pleasure of life.
Secondly, happiness consists in contentment. A man who is dissatisfied with his present condition is always in distress.
無疑的快樂是世界上最寶貴的東西。沒有它，人生將是空虛的而且毫無意義的。如果你希望知道如何獲得快樂，你須注意下面兩點。
健康是快樂的要訣。唯有身體強壯的人才能享受人生的樂趣。

BOOKS 書籍
As is well known, books teach us to learn life, truth, science and many other useful things. They increase our knowledge, broaden our minds and strengthen our character. In other words, they are our good teachers and wise friends. This is the reason why our parents always encourage us to read more books.
Reading is a good thing, but we must pay great attention to the choice of books. It is true that we can derive benefits from good books. However, bad books will do us more harm than good.
如眾所周知，書籍教我們學習人生，真理，科學以及其它許多有用的東西。它們增加我們的知識，擴大我們的心胸並加強我們的品格。換句話說，它們是我們的良師益友。這是為什麼我們的父母終是鼓勵我們要多讀書的理由。

A TRIP TO THE COUNTRY 鄉村游記
One Sunday my mother (Mother) had (made) me take my little young brother to the a trip to the country. She bade me take good care of him.
While we were walking along the road, the sun was shining brightly and the breeze was blowing gently. We saw the beautiful flowers smile (smiling) at us and heard the birds sing (singing) their sweet songs on the trees. The scenery was indeed very pretty (beautiful).
When we felt tired, we returned home. We saw Mother (our mother) wait (waiting) for us at the door.
有一個星期日，我母親叫我帶小弟弟去鄉村游歷。她吩咐我要好好照料他。

BE PATRIOTIC 要愛國
It is the ty of every citizen to make the country rich and powerful (To make the country rich and strong is...). In order to accomplish this object one must be patriotic (love his country). I consider this an unchangeable truth.
How can a student love his country (be patriotic)? I find my answer very simple and clear. He must study hard and store up knowledge so as to serve his (the) country in the future. If every student can do according to what I said, the country will certainly be rich and powerful.
要使國家富強是每個公民的責任。為了達到此目的，必須愛國。我認為這是一條不易的定理。
一個學生如何才能愛國呢？我發覺答復很簡單明了。他必須用功讀書並積儲知識以便將來服務國家。如果每個學生能按照我所說的去做，國家一定會富強。
