Today is my first day in the college. I really feel excited to review what happened in this day.
I indeed experienced many things for the first time today. Today is my first time to see my college teacher. I can really feel the passion, active and power from the college English teacher when compared with one in the high school. On the other hand, I also meet my roommate who I will share the following four years together. Those guys are friendly and I firmly believe we can get along well in the following college time.
A: Hey what's up? Haven't seen you for years.
B: Yeah, good to see you again, just feel so excited about my next lecture in humanities college.
A: Why? What about it?
B: About that professor, she is so good, so awesome that he can share with us his birillient ideas about so many historical figures and distinctive judgements about big events. And the best part, she is a gorgeous lady aged 32, so sometimes my mind just go other places sometimes.
A: Sounds great. Well, it is true that college teahchers are quite different from high school teacher since in China we have to struggle for the right to go to college and the teachers were doing their jobs to help us learning, reviewing and test so much about the subjects we learnt. So basically, high school teachers are all about exams and grades to see both how they and we are doing in our school works. While teachers in college are about open minds relaxed teaching styles so that they are required to give more space to students and, most importantly, qualified college teachers should be able to guide, not to order the students on the school work so the students can bring their creativity into full play in a specific field, which is what college is all about
B: That's right and speaking of that, I do feel luck enough to be in such a good college and get rid of my high school time once and for all, because that was really a hard time in my life, I mean, tons of homework, endless tests and non-stop talking teachers in class for ever...But anyway, I do feel grateful to my high school teachers who devoted so much of their life and energy on the platform guiding our lives into a brand new and correct path.
A: Good call, and I feel so much better about my high school chemical teacher, who was strict and even mean to us but a very responsible teacher.
B: That's good. Alright I can't wait to see Ms. Gorgeous. See ya

Hello everyone.Today I'm glad to be here to give a speech about my fresh experience in XX University.
First I must say the campus life is really different from what I have experienced in high school.For instance,I used to lean upon my dormitory teacher to wake me up on time.But now I have to set several alarm clocks to make myself could hear them in the morning otherwise I would miss my class.And then even worse there would be nobody remind me

My campus activities are rich and colorful.Learning English has become a habit to me cause I plan to study abroad in next few years.Playing Guzheng is my favorite activity.I have kept on practising it since I was a little girl and I wish to win more competitions in my campus life.
Our university has the first level equipments and the most experienced teachers,also has the best students(laugh).I consider it to be a honor that I've got a chance to study here and I sincerely hope that we could live wonderful lives in our campus!

First Day on the Campus
I still remember the day when I first came to the college. Being a boy of 17, I was longing for a new life as a college student; but, at the same time, I had no idea what college life would be like.
That morning when the bus carried me to the gate of the college. I was so excited that my heart was beating very fast as if it would leap out of my mouth. From now on, I would be a student of this college. After registration, we were led by an instructor to the dormitory, where, for the first time, we were going to live without parents but roommates. I was so clumsy that I did not know how to make the bed and fix the mosquito net.
In the afternoon, I took a walk around the campus together with my roommates. To think of studying in such a beautiful place made me feel quite proud of myself. As we were walking along, talking and laughing, a voice came into our ears, "Oh, look at these freshmen!" It was our middle-school-students' looking that gave us away. We continued our tour of the college, inspecting every building and every garden until the sun began to set.
In the evening, we sat together, talking about the past and the future. We were so excited that no one wanted to go to bed.

My First Day at College
The rain was pounding against my window as I awoke at the 『ungodly』 hour of seven thirty. It was bad enough that I had to be there for 9 AM. I felt so secure and warm wrapped up in my winter vet. It was the best feeling in the world. As I finally dragged my self out of the comfort and security of my bed, I felt the cold as I rushed to get a shower.
I didn』t really want to go, but something inside me told me I should; it would be for the best. Today wasn』t just my first day at college; it was the start of a journey. I arrived early, about eight thirty. I』ll always remember that totally lost feeling. I felt as though I was in a jungle, a concrete jungle. The buildings were like the trees and the people were like the wild animals. The jungle seemed to be full of monkeys and other wild animals. All the wild animals seemed to know each other; I felt like I was invading their private space, like on one of those wildlife programs, where the monkeys just stare at the camera, as if to say, 「Get out of my space.」
I was scared. Somehow I found my way through the maze, which I knew at XXX College/University. Reception seemed like a busy place, full of all the wild animals; everyone was standing away from the main desk. I asked the lady behind the desk where my classroom was. I was given directions to the drama hall. As I walked in to the classroom, I was nervous. These were the jungle animals I would spend the year with. I would have to make friends with them.
I was only in college for about an hour, filling in forms and answering questions. We only used the computers for the last fifteen minutes, when we were setting up our student account, which involved setting our user name and password. We were given our timetable. I was in the next morning at nine. So I went home, that was my first day of the journey through the jungle.
I started walking home; by this time it had stopped raining. I felt good about my self; I had survived my first day at the jungle known as college. I thought to myself, one down only another three years to go!
