好一个周光裕，他中刀后仍死死抓住魏祥和的头发，赤手空拳地和两名歹徒进行着殊死的搏斗。搏斗中，凶残的宋全月再次举起了带血的尖刀，一下、两下……鲜血从周光裕的臀部、后背、颈部、前胸流了出来。
但周光裕仍不松手。
宋全月对着周光裕的锁骨下又是一刀。刀刃刺穿了周光裕的肺部。周光裕倒在了血泊中。
事后人们发现，周光裕身中6刀仍然坚持和歹徒搏斗，直到肺部中了那致命的一刀。

周光裕，一个普普通通的下岗工人，用鲜血维护了城市的安宁。
了解周光裕的人都说，对他勇斗歹徒的行为一点都不感到奇怪，因为，当年他在农村插队时，就因制止偷瓜而遭到过殴打。
后来，队里看中了他那多管闲事的性格，让他去看果园，结果惹得当地一些屡占果园便宜的人要揍他。
1976年，周光裕返城，起先被安排在南京钨钼材料厂当保管员。时间不长，他就因为坚持原则，制止一起偷拿厂里原材料事件而遭到殴打。尽管被打得鼻青脸肿，但他始终无怨无悔、尽职尽责地当好保管员。
见着危险往上冲已成为老周的习惯。当年，钨钼材料厂曾发生氨气罐的输气管爆裂事件，就在大家被氨气熏得头昏眼花直流泪的时候，是周光裕连防护罩也没戴就冲上去，关掉了阀门，避免了一场事故的发生。
难怪有人这样评价周光裕：在是非面前他从不含糊；在危急时刻，他从不躲避。正因为如此，他才会在歹徒的尖刀下那样大义凛然。
