春节，是农历正月初一，又叫阴历年，俗称"过年"。这是我国民间最隆重、最热闹的一个传统节日。春节的历史很悠久，它起源于殷商时期年头岁尾的祭神祭祖活动。按照我国农历，正月初一古称元旦，俗称大年初一，而之前则是年三十儿了。是世界上起源最早，参与的人最多的节日之一。
今天是腊月二十九了，中国最喜庆的传统节日——春节就要到了。早晨，本想睡个懒觉的我被声声鞭炮叫醒，我便穿上衣服，跑了出去。
虽然是早晨，但街上早已经热闹非凡。
一个摊位前站了很多人，我也忙过去凑热闹。只见一位老书法家正在为大家写春联，现在春节多用印制的春联，固然好看，但用老人们的话说“喜庆的年味淡了”。这位老爷爷亲笔写的春联，字苍劲劲有力，虽然周围没有好看的花边，但仍然最受大家的喜爱。
再往前走，一个地方挤满了小孩子，我忙走过去，想看个究竟。原来这是一个鞭炮摊。在柜台上，各式各样的鞭炮琳琅满目，有早上放的鞭炮，白天放的爆竹，晚上放的烟火；有大孩子放的“水雷”，小孩子放的摔炮，真是应有尽有。
街市上，无论买什么动起的摊子，生意都很好。中国人自古就有在快过年的时候买新衣服，买生活用品，理发，洗澡等习俗。因此商家门都有很好的生意。
回到家，爸爸妈妈已经忙起来了！只见妈妈利索地擦洗着桌椅、门窗、地板，屋子的里里外外都被妈妈擦洗得干干净净，就连柜子后面、床下面这些犄角旮旯的地方都被扫的一尘不染。再看爸爸，他小心翼翼地用透明胶布把春联贴在门口的墙上，然后和楼上的叔叔阿姨一起，把楼道打扫的干干净净。
最具文化内涵和传统魅力的春节已经伴随我们中国人几千年了，它富含辞旧迎新、感恩上苍、联络亲情、传播民间娱乐等意义，是我们中华文化的结晶。我们要一代一代的把他传承和发扬下去
