这是我收集到的技巧。

（1）利用段首句或文章第一段把握文章的主题，最大限度地获取信息。一般来说，第一句是无需填空的完整句，往往也是文章的中心句或引导句，它的时态往往决定了全文的时态，它可为帮助考生理解文章大意提供重要线索。段首句应当成为认真阅读和仔细推敲的重点句子。许多英语文章每段的开头都是用以说明文章中这一段落主题的一个主题句，其他句子都围绕这个主题展开。正确理解段落的主题句对理解整个段落乃至顺利理解整篇文章都是很有帮助的。

（2）联系上下文把握文章的发展线索。完形填空文章多为说明文，有时也出现一些记叙文。说明文通常采用列举理由、举例、比较或对比、因果关系、过程的描述、事实或数据等方法对事物进行说明。阅读时，要特别注意对连词组句的语法功能词的理解和把握。记叙文大多是按时间先后顺序写成的，着重事情发生的先后顺序的情节叙述。在议论文体中，文章的主题句常常出现在开始和结尾，用来概括点明段落或文章的中心，或交代作者的观点、立场和态度。通读全文时考生要注意表达不同逻辑关系的如下连词：

①表示时间：now /then /afterwards /later /soon /before long.

②表示空间顺序：first /secondly /far/above /below /near /beside /to the right /onone’s side.

③表示目的：for the reason/for the purpose /so that/ in order that.

④表示对照：but /however /on thecontrary /yet /on the other hand.

⑤表示结果：thus /otherwise /therefore/as a result / so /seeing that.

考生可利用这种连词线索辨别主题句、扩展句、作者的观点以及证明该观点而提供的事实或例证等所处的位置。这样，考生就能迅速理解层次之间的关系，准确选择相应的连接方式，为准确地恢复文章思路发展中所缺少的信息做好准备。

（3）利用语法知识，寻找正确线索。尽管完形填空测试的是考生综合运用语言的能力，但扎实的语法基本功是准确运用语言的基础。考生在选择答案时，要结合上下文来确定相关内容的句法关系，是简单句、并列句还是复合句，是定语从句还是状语从句等。如果属于语法类的选择项，读者可根据上下文的要求，运用排除法、择优法等技巧选择合适的答案；如果属于词汇类的选择题，读者可根据语法来判断词性，再根据对全文的理解进一步推测词的语义范围。通过这些技巧来选定适合上下文所需要的词。

（4）利用词汇知识选择最佳答案。完形填空部分的选择项大部分都是词汇类选择题，涉及面也较广，如近义词的辨析，同义、反义词的掌握，构词知识的了解，词汇的习惯搭配，过去分词和现在分词等等。这不仅要求我们要掌握某一个词的字面意思，而且要把握某类词的固定搭配以及词与词之间的细微差别，以及某个词在具体语境中的含义等。
