日期寫在信紙的右上角

英文書信的格式及信封的寫法：

1、信紙的右上角寫上日期，如September 8，也常用簡寫Sep. 8；非正式的信件，年代常省略；正式的書信則不只會寫上年代，還會把發信者的住址寫在日期的上方。

2、接下來在信紙的左方寫收信人的稱呼語，通常用Dear開始，再接著寫名字(一般都用first name )，如Dear Susan (親愛的蘇珊)；至於名字的後面則通常打上逗號或留白。

英文信封的寫法：

1、在信封的左上角寫「寄信人」的名字和住址。

2、在信封的中間或右下角偏左的地方寫「收信人」的名字和住址。

3、寄信人不自稱Mr.、Mrs.或Miss，但是在收信人的姓名前則必須加上尊稱Mr.、Mrs.或Miss以示禮貌。

書信中的日期，一般都是日+月（或月+日），年份

1.日期在月份前或後都可以；用自然數，如3 Feb，也可以用序數，如Feb 3th。
2.月份不要用數字表示，而是用縮寫，如 3th Feb, 1995。
2.年份之前要加逗號，年份要全寫，如1995，不要寫成95
