記得上次爸爸帶我去街上玩，我突然發現路邊有許多人在圍觀，發生了什麼事？走近一看，原來發生了交通事故。現場那慘不忍睹的場面我都不忍心寫了：轎車被撞壞了，摩托車被撞飛了，還摔成兩半。車上的二人一人被當場撞死，一人的腿被壓斷了，旁邊流了許多血。那場面至今我還歷歷在目。還有一次是我親身體驗過的，我的一個叔叔因為上班趕時間，橫穿馬路，被一輛大貨車撞成了殘疾。從此，他只能在輪椅上度過下半生。這件事在我的腦海里留下了一個深深的烙印。每次我想闖紅燈時，我總會想起我的叔叔，他每次都提醒著我不要那樣做。
那為什麼人們要闖紅燈呢？有些人認為紅燈只是「聾子的耳朵——擺設」，只對傻子管用；有些人見別人闖紅燈自己也跟著闖；還有些人認為紅綠燈只管機動車輛，不管自行車和人。他們認為不是車子不撞他們，而是不敢撞他們。俗話說得好「光腳的不怕穿鞋的」。行人和自行車就是那光腳的。
面對這種形勢，我決定用自己的微薄之力來勸大家遵守交通規則，而我也要付之於行動。如果見有人要闖紅燈，我便去勸說他不要闖紅燈，並告訴他如果出事故了，家裡人會很擔心的，還要付醫葯費，最後做到人財兩空，這多不值得呀！此外，我還建議警察在十字路口放幾幅畫，畫上畫著：一個人因為闖紅燈被撞死了，地上全是血，邊上還有他的親人在為他流淚，來警戒人們不要闖紅燈了，不然畫中的那個人就是你。
